As any parent of an infant knows, the quicker the better. This product is SLOOOOOOW. It doesn't read the temperature until it has been the same temperature for a number of seconds, and can take MINUTES to get a steady read.

This is the most awful thermometer I have ever seen. It takes minutes, MINUTES to get a reading, then it says it's done with a crazy reading like 95.2 or 97.1. Do not buy this thermometer!

It is slow, and it isn't accurate though we have only tried to use it under the arm. My son, when sick doesn't want it stuck under his arm and because it is slow, we never seem to get an accurate reading....I had come online to see other choices when I read everyone else's comments I have to agree.

takes too long to measure temp under arm. does not measure accurately - ~4 degrees off.

It takes a really long time to take the temperature and it's hard when the baby is moving and doesn't stay still.

I was given this as a gift, and it's just terrible. Takes FOREVER to take a temperature, and then is inaccurate. Absolute waste of money.

I went out and bought the Vicks thermometer - it's super quick (usually ~5 seconds) and works great!

Ive had this since my son was born. It takes WAY too long to get the reading and its not very accurate.
