The plastic digs into baby's skin. The fit never seemed right. Baby never held onto them very well. I switched to "tommee tippee - closer to nature" pacifiers & they are much better - soft all around. My baby actually keeps in the pacifier since switching to those. Maybe it's just my baby, but they didn't work for us.

I purchased Avent pacifier before my son was born and we'll needless to say he didn't want anything to do with it. Go figures the pretty pacifiers isn't worth it. I finally got NUK and well he loves them. Now I have read some people complained about cleaning and the soap and water getting into the nipples. Easy solution, use salt and scrub the nipples with your finger then rinse under warm water don't dunk it in water. Its like sterilizing with out using the sterilizer (which your not suppose to do to any brand of pacifiers). Just wish more colorful and fun NUK products would be brought in.

This is the only pacifier Emma will take. I usually don't agree with babies having pacifiers, but she was 3 weeks early and she got used to the soothie the 5 days she stayed in the hospital. I didn't want to take it away from her so early, and the soothie was SO big. I tried TONS of different pacis but these are the ones she LOVES.

I've used NUK pacifiers w/ three of my children. I have used other brands and can't really say ones superior to another. NUK is a really good brand though. While some people may complain about the water getting inside, it can be a life saver during teething. If you squeeze while under water and allow it to come into the nipple then chill, it soothes a fussy teething baby in no time (use a bib, it can get baby wet).

My daughter LOVES THESE!! I bought the Avent ones and she would gag everytime I tried putting them in her mouth. The first time I put the NUK ones in she LOVED IT. I think it's the shape of the nipple these curve up and the avent go straight back. She is a breastfed baby and these were so much easier for her to use!

I absolutly LOVE these pacifiers. When my daughter was just born it seemed like she was hungry all the time when in reality she just wanted to suckle. I tried the MAM pacifier I recieved at the hospital, which she did not seem very fond of, I also tried the Playtex one I recieved as a sample when I was discharged, and I tried a Soothie which other moms had suggested. The only one my daughter took to was the Nuk I had purchased before she was born. She loves it! I'd definitly recommend this product to anyone. The water in the mouth piece is only a small issue. And does dry out.

These pacifiers are wonderful and they're priced reasonably.
My only complaint: there isn't any choice of color. My grandson ended up with 4 pink ones.

This is the only pacifier my baby would take, and we tried several. The only problems are that it sits right against the face with little room for ventilation so my baby gets a rash around her mouth from the moisture but it goes away after a few minutes and also, the water leaks into the nipple when washing. You can squeeze the water out of the pacifier, but if it were a one piece design it would be much better. Overall a good product. My baby is happy and therefore so am I!

I'm going to have to return these pacifiers before my daughter even has a chance to use them. When washing them for the first time, soapy water got inside of the pacifiers. Now, when I squeeze the silicone tip, bubbles come out on the other side by the handle. Not worth the money.

The good thing about it is that my baby took it very well and it was confortable for him...
But it gets dirty too much in places you gotta really look to find out if u buy it be careful with it cause ur baby can get sick cause of the bacteria that gets in it!
