These cups do leak if you hold them upside down and shake them. I chose these cups for that purpose though. I'm trying to teach my dd to drink from a sippy cup. And as a bf baby, she won't suck anything that's not me. Not even a pacifier. All the other cups are to hard for to get the concept of squeeze and suck. These cups make it easy for her to get water out. She's doing great with these cups. But for the price, it's fantasic. I would buy these again.

Great little cups that withstand the wear and tear of preschool boys! There are no little stoppers to lose, the tops don't come off too easy (but they can), and if they get too gross you can toss them out. They hold up in the dishwasher, and are pretty good at not leaking unless you shake it upside down. You can use them without the tops for older kids. I won't buy any other cups for my son or my daycare kids.

I received these as a gift, and kind of forgot about them until recently. My daughter is 10 months old, and I started introducing a sippy cup to her a couple of months ago. I've tried the Avent soft spout ones and Gerber soft and hard spouts, but she just didn't seem to get it. Then I remembered I had these! They are easy for her to use, and they don't leak (unless she shakes the cup really hard). She can't get the cap off for now, although I'm sure an older baby could probably figure it out.

I especially like the shape of the nozzle. It is easy for her to get her mouth around and suck. It is also nice that they are "disposable" because you can reuse them, but you don't feel too bad if one gets lost by accident.

We really love these cups because they don't spill at all. We like to have a sippy cup of water within reach at all times for our little boy, so these get left on the rug or turned on their side on the furniture all the time and they do not leak as long as we are sure to snap the lid on completely. They are also great in the dishwasher as compared to other cups with valves and extra parts. However, now that my baby has teeth, he chews the lids to oblivion and they get cracks in them, so I have to buy more cups even though I only need the lids. Upon contacting the company who makes these, I found that you can order replacement lids, but they are 20% more expensive than purchasing the complete set of cups and lids at the store, not to mention the shipping cost. For now I am just saving the extra cups to use later for paint and art supplies.

i like these for my 2 year old b/c when she is sitting at the table we take the cover off and she can practice drinking from a "big girl cup" but when she is playing and walking around we put the cover on. love bpa free. i only wash by hand and don't put in microwave so i think will last longer

I have had two sets of these cups for about a year and I'm just now buying replacements. I personally don't mind that they aren't totally leak-proof, as my son is two and he's understanding that if he doesn't hold a cup properly it may leak or spill - even so, I've had very few problems with leaks or spills and have been using these since my son was a year old. As far as them being "flimsy" or cracking, I haven't had this problem at all and I have a wild and crazy little guy. He has chewed on a few of the spouts, causing the holes to close up a little - but hey, they're disposable. It's cheaper for 10 of these than most two-packs of cups sold on the market. I love that these are dishwasher-safe and I think the best thing about the cups is that the lid can easily be removed and the cup doesn't have threading or a lip where the lid attaches, making it easy for me to teach my son to drink from a regular cup. At dinner time, we remove the lid and let him drink water, perfecting those motor skills. I really don't want a five year old with a sippy cup! I wouldn't encourage these for travel.

These cups are not spill proof. They are spill resistant, but if you hold it upside down it will still drip. They also break easily when thrown.

I bought these cups to use when my others were dirty. However, after a week my 20 month old son cracked all of the tops. They are good because they are only two pieces but the quality is not there. What can you really expect for cheap, disposable cups!

These cups are wonderful for use at the table. They are spill proof, and if turned on their side won't dump the contents out, however, they do leak if left on their side. This isn't a big deal for me since I mainly have them to use when we have friends over with small children, or if all our Avent and Nuby cups are dirty. We use our Avent or Nuby cups with our 1 year old to carry around the house and drink from. Just make sure when you buy these that you aren't looking for a "leak proof" cup.

These cups are great if you are ok with buying more down the road, they are disposable. My 8 month old has got his 2 top teeth and his two bottom and he quickly chews and breaks cracks the lid of these cups. I have had to throw most of them away. I've decided to switch cups, because he is going through these like crazy.
