The Dr. Brown bottles work very well. I just went to babies r us yesterday and bought 3 of the 3 packs of vent insert replacements for the 9 bottles we have. Babies r us seems to be the only place I could find that carries them besides online. I found it interesting, the inserts I purchased were white instead of beige. I like the new change. My only complaint with the bottles are these inserts get yellow build up from the formula on them. Twice I found a tiny black spot (I assume mold) on 2 of them, I immediately threw it away. They are a pain to clean but since they are white now I feel it'll be easier to clean, tackle problem areas. It's time consuming but worth it. Once a month I put my old vents in bleach for 5-30 minutes. It seemed to restore original color and take care of hard stains. I over bleached them the other day. They turned a yellow color so new ones were needed. I understand the concept of the bottle, reservoir, and vent. I love the nipples and the reinforced white piece for the nipple. It's a great bottle, just the vents are a pain.. washing them as soon as you use them can prevent build up. Pay close attention to these pieces when washing bottles.

I have been using these bottles for 14 months and have purchased more for friends and family who are not as in love with them as me. They are a pain to wash but for the peace of mind-it's worth it. 14 long months and the vents are just now starting to get gross black, dirt spots in the crevices and the top, center hole. I have scrubbed, used the tiny brush and boiled them to death and they will not get clean. I refuse to buy new ones bc I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to get my daughter to switch to cups full time. Overall-great product! If they are leaking, make sure the resovoir is on tight and you are not over 8oz of liquid. They will also leak if it's too hot.

I have been using these bottles for 24 years. I first used them for my daughter and now my 6 grandchildren. I often set the inserts in boiling water for 3 mins to be sure any build up that accumulated after washing was cleaned out. I would recommend these products to every Mom!!

We started using Dr. Brown's bottles from day one. Not sure why I just knew they would work great and they do! Only one thing that I was concerned with regarding the beige vent inserts...I noticed a yellow "fungus" type residue on the top of some of them. It was hard to remove even after scrubbing with the sm. brush that's included it with the bottles. I've decided that since the bottles work so well, we will just continue to buy & replace them as needed.

I tried a lot of bottles before I found this one. My daughter was constanty uncomfortable after drinking from a bottle except this one...It helped her colic and spitting up.

I'm not sure how Dr. Brown does it with these pieces, but they reduced my baby's colic.

I was so glad when my husband and I found these. We were going to replace ALL of our sons Dr. Browns Bottles till we stumbled across these at BRU. For a fraction of the price our son has fresh inserts!

You can't go wrong with these to replace your used up and dirty vent inserts and they're the cheapest on this site by far.

Perfect buy...cheaper than buying a whole new bottle. Dr. Brown bottles are not cheap but selling part to replace used/old ones are great! Will buy again!!
