These breast pads were comfortable and made my breasts look nicely-shaped at a time when the rest of my body didn't feel so great. I tried two other types of pads-- one which was cotton and reusable (which leaked through even when I doubled it), and another disposable brand from the grocery with a nipple shape on the outside of the pad.I never quite understood the nipple-thing (It was for looks, not to provide extra space for the human nipple which touches the inside of the pad). The latter brand did help us keep our sense of humor however when the dog decided to tear a used grocery-bought disposable breast-pad, which she stole out of the trash can, into bits and strew them all over the house. Contrary to our dogs opinion, I like the Medela brand, however. My suggestion: [...] These pads are more expensive than the grocery ones and the reusables. Treat your breast to these pads at the beginning. You deserve it.

This is my 2nd time around breastfeeding and with my eldest son I never used anything but Lanisoah. The Lanisoah pads were out and I needed something so out of desperation i picked these up. Big mistake. This did NOT hold up against my super-strong letdown! These leaked even with just a hint of letdown. Medela makes a WONDERFUL pump and pump products, and they should stop there. Stick with Lanisoah (sp?) for your disposable pads and milk storage bags, and stick to Bravado for your nursing bras, and of course Medela for a pump. But for nursing pads just grab the purple box! MUCH better IMO!

Comments about Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 30 Count:

I have tried every disposable and reusable nursing pad out there, and these are the only pads that I have never leaked through. Also, they are made in a way that they do not "fill up" or get spongy like other pads. I won't use any others!!

Comments about Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 30 Count:

I use Lansinoh breast pads usually and had received a box of these as a gift. So when I recently ran out of my usual breast pads, I started using these. Needless to say they are awful. I can't comment on whether or not they keep you from leaking because they NEVER stay in place. They aren't soft, and when you wear them the adhesive lets go, sometimes causing it to fold down and the adhesive then adheres itself to my nipple. I am really upset that a brand that caters so specifically to breast feeding could come up with such an awful product. Definitely go with another brand!

Comments about Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 30 Count:

I'd place these in my bra and they'd always move. I'd have milk spots on the inside of my bra. When I woke up from a nap or in the morning, they would move to the side of my bra or be bent. I'm not a crazy sleeper, but these pads have a mind of their own. They need better adhesive!

Comments about Medela Disposable Nursing Bra Pads - 30 Count:

These were ok most of the time, nice and thin, but during the nighttime I always leaked through them, a problem I rarely had with Johnson and Johnson brand (which is available at [@]).

I am not fan of these. They are absorbent, but uncomfortable. There is a thin layer that sticks to your nipple when you take them off to nurse. During the first few days of nursing my nipples were a little sore and this made them hurt even more. I would recommend the reusable pads, they are not scratchy and so much softer.

I was given a box of these - good thing because I would have regretted buying them. I generally use Bravado washable pads but put a couple of these Medela pads in the diaper bag "just in case". I was happy they were wrapped and would keep clean. I was glad to have something dry when I needed it, but these pads are very uncomfortable. They are not soft, the edges itch and they're very noisy. Not the kind of thing I'd buy on a regular basis. They are absorbant, though.

This is my second child, I usually buy the Lansinoh brand, but I got a box of these at my babyshower so I figured I would give them a try. They are just ok. They bunch horribly, so if you are trying to use the sticky backing you will have to get a new pair after each nursing. They also seem a bit scratchy and don't hold enough. (I have over active let down.) Medela has some wonderful products: breastpumps, cream, nipple shields, reusable nursing pads, but these disposable pads are not one of the. Will work, but won't buy again.

Pads come with sticky area to hold itself in place in bra. Does not work. If it is moving all over the place inside the bra, why bother. Not worth buying.
