My 11 year old son spent all of his birthday money on this plane. He waited anxiously everyday until it showed up only to find that the plane was broken in the package, it was made of flimsy thin foam, and when we contacted the manufacturer (because you can't return it to the store) they wanted more money to cover the shipping cost of the product to return the product, and again more money to send it to you after an inspection by their company. He had already paid [$] to get this to the doorstep, mind you. Needless to say, we fixed the plane at home with the tape that was suggested for repairs in the product manual...WHAT A JOKE! Durability and Construction Value= F-. By day number 2 the plane's top wing fell off, the rudder piece (that we had to repair ourselves) was not working anymore. After much disgust that he spent his money on such an extremely poor product, my son threw it away. He might as well have taken 3 $20's and a $5 bill and lit them on fire! Most definitely would not recommend purchasing this product, or any others manufactured by MEGATECH and if you do, don't expect much in the way of customer service. THOUROUGHLY DISGUSTED!!!!

The "IR" transmitter had limited range and the plane was just very fragile. Overall wasnt worth the money. If you can find a "mini XPV" buy that one.

I purchased this for my son. It looks sturdy in the photos and gets good reviews, but it is INSANELY fragile. The on/off switch is so tiny that I could barely see it, and I had to use the tip of my pinky fingernail to turn it on and off. My son couldn't even do that simple part of it, let alone fly it! The directions say explicitly that it is only good for indoors. However, unless you are in a gymnasium, you are out of luck. We have a large "great room" and my husband could not even maneuver it inside. It is too light to fly outdoors as any slight breeze will cause it to crash. It does not have a sharp turning radius, and you have to have the throttle on high to take off, thus causing it to immediately crash into a wall or some other furniture. My son is completely disappointed, as he saved up his birthday money and allowances for months to purchase this. It will be returned tomorrow.

When i got this i was excited. it was the first plane i ever had. it flew well although a snail could beat it in a race (it's slow). It's slow speed makes it great for beginers. it can take some hits but after a while of crashing repeatively it starts to kind of break down. (with mine the tips of the wings started to bend a little and the gears poped off that spun the propellers so a lot of times they would pop off and i would lose power in mid air.)NOTE:you will probably rarely or never need to go to full throttle. the stick is porpotional, meaning that if you move the stick a little the plane will move a little. if you move the stick a lot, the plane moves a lot.BOTTOM LINE: good beginner plane,indoors only,easy to control,moderate construction,tiny on/off switch breaks off easily when landed,GOOD BUY

Loved the plane. However, the little on/off/charge switch was too delicate and broke off when it was switched to fly mode by an adult. It was easily maneuvered by a child of six. Don't fly in vicinity of pools, oceans or open bodies of water. A wind draft blew ours out to sea!

It's a nice little flier, and took considerable abuse for being made of thin plastic. It needs some space to really have fun with it, somewhere without many obstacles. My motor stopped working after two dozen uses despite the rudder still working.

I use this lovely product for flying inside my own APARTMENT! It works great for indoor use. it has very tight turns.
its fairly good outside.
it will not do good on a windy day outside thouh.

BUT IT STILL SMASHES OTHER R/C AIRPLANES!

This product is absoulotely amazing! You will not regret buying this great life changing plane! My son got it out of the box then...
