Welcome to a brawl for the ages, where anything can happen, anyone can show up and all bets are off.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl features a sprawling adventure mode called "The Subspace Emissary" that's a full game in and of itself. Players jump and brawl their way through enemy-packed side-scrolling levels, meeting up with other characters, watching incredible cinematics and taking on massive bosses.

In multiplayer games, characters from all Nintendo universes meet up in Nintendo locales to duke it out. In the solo mode called "The Subspace Emissary," the world of Smash Bros. is invaded by an entity called the Ancient Minister and his army of creatures, called "The Primid." Normally, characters come alive in the world of Smash Bros. to do battle, then turn back into trophies when defeated. However, the Ancient Minister starts turning characters into trophies to harness their power, then detonates bombs that suck pieces of the world back into his realm of Subspace. Eventually, all the characters must work together to defeat the invading creatures from Subspace - this is accomplished by playing through side-scrolling levels.

great game

This game is the best nintendos ever made.even people who arent good at it will enjoy it because of all the different modes.It is great to see yourself playing as classic nintendo charcters. there are so many stages and characters. The story is action packed and long. The only things that are bad in it are the long load times and that once all charcters are unlocked it becomes less intresting. Still awesome and fun, but less intresing. I would recomend it to all ages ecause it is fun and awesome regardless of the teen rating. it is more of a "fun pranks" fighting.

I have two daughters ages 6 and 10. We overplayed two prior copies of this game. The only game we have ever done that to. It has characters(Kirby,Pikachu,Star Fox,Zelda, etc.) from multiple video games that battle each other. Each character has their own signature moves. You can play multiplayer or solo. I do get angry that my daughters can beat me. I then get even more angry when I try to win after losing, only to lose again!

We love this game! My 4 year old plays with and 8 year old, 12 year old, and Dad and everyone has a blast. This is a perfect game for people who know how to play as well as those who don't because you can play four players at a time and everyone gets some action in the game. If you like mario brothers or the mario kart game then you'll love this game as well.

great with friends, I will use it at parties because everyone loves it! Kids, teens, and adults will like this. Brings in all sorts of characters, old and new. (Ex: sonic the hedgehog, donkey kong, kirby, mario and luigi, zelda, and LOTS more.) many different places to play, each with a different difficulty. Different challengers, multiplayer. Not too hard to learn, (maybe a little challenging) but each button controls each character differently, and each character gets their own power.

This is a great game. If you're worried about violence, there isn't any blood. When you're hit you just flinch and turn white for a second.
