At first, I would like to buy the baby monitor with the camera, but it's too pricey. When I was about to buy it, my close friend let me use her baby monitor. It's a great product. She used it for a year and I have been using it for 7 months. The monitor still in good condition. I experienced static problem, but it happened few days only and for somehow it works great again. Not bad at all with this price :)

This product works well.. we live in a 2 bedroom apartment and this product works well in it. Do not place any other electronic items too close to it since it may pick up static.

I actually bought this as a gift for my brother and sister in law. Monitors were the only thing they didn't recieve so I checked out reviews and found that (with the execption of VIDEO MONITORS) they had some of the better reviews. Other monitors were more expenisve but had horrible reviews so I decided to try these.

They seem to be very happy with them and have had no complaints :)

We love this monitor! It doesn't make any of the static noise our old one made. We can hear our daughter loud and clear even when the volume is low. It is absolute perfection. I only wish it had two receivers instead of just one.

I was given this product as a gift. I haven't had any problems with it. I live in a smaller 2 story condo, and for me it works great & does the job. (In fact I'm using it now) It does what it needs to do, and I like the fact that it lights up when there is noise fluctuation. Sometimes I take it into the bathroom when I need to shower & baby is in the other room, so that lighting feature is helpful. I haven't found it to be too staticy or anything either. And, good price!

It didn't meet expectations at all, too much static and noise making hard for the parent to fall asleep at night. I will not buy this monitor again and wouldn't recommend to anybody.

At work, I cannot hear the Receiving Bell in certain areas of the Building.
The unit helps alot. However, we have quite a bit of electronic interference, so there is one area, where there's too much static to hear the bell.
I like the fact the Parent Unit (Receiver) has a regular 9 volt battery. But, I almost always use the AC plug for the Parent Unit.
Too many products rely on rechargable batteries and they only last from 6 to 12 months, before they need to be replaced - and the replacement batteries are only good for no more than 3 months from places like Radio Shack.
Trust me. I've purchased telephones and it's cheaper to buy a new phone than buy rechargable batteries @15.95 every 3 months.

Considering that I only paid [$] for this after a coupon, I'd say it's worth the money. There's a lot of feedback, but I keep the volume low. The microphone is super sensitive, so it doesn't have to be loud for me to hear the baby.

Considering that I only paid [$] for this monitor with a coupon, I think it was well worth it. I keep the volume really low, b/c it gets very static-y. The microphone is very sensitive, and picks up the street noise which sets the lights off. I don't care too much since I didn't pay that much for it. I think it's a great cheap monitor.
