We have had these since the baby was born, and their usefulness has varied a bit. When he used to drink 2 or 2.5 oz at a time, they were perfect.

Then, they were kind of a pain as the baby started drinking more at a time, and I was pumping more, so I was going through these too quickly (and started to use the disposable zip freezer bags instead).

Then I found that these were very useful (again) when the bags would occasionally leak 'on the go' - These travel wonderfully, and defrost quickly (but not too quickly so you are safe for a nice daytrip.

This may sound lame, but here is another one of my favorite featues: When the milk is frozen, the size/shape of the frozen milk is like a skinny little 'tube', and if you're trying to pack a bottle for the road, the frozen milk slips right out into an actual bottle, so you don't have to defrost before leaving (like you would with a flat zip bag) or carry extra stuff with you. For someone who is always running around like me, this is handy.

Downsides: There is a spot to write date and volume. Don't use it - it will stain and you can't clean it off. To solve the 'volume' problem, store it upright until it's frozen solid, and then you can easily see the volume. And I just try to be mindful about using/rotating milk quickly since I can't record th date. Also, a couple of the caps broke pretty easiy, as well as the plastic 'feet' on the bottom that help the bottle to stand upright. Be careful about dropping when frozen.

The size has gotten a lot of complaints, but I don't mind - I can defrost two or three of them if needed.

These shouldn't be your exclusive milk storage system, as you will go through 12 bottles quickly. But they DO have their place in the housdhold, at least most of the time.

And, no, they don't leak. At all. And the caps are compatible with Medela's bottles.

My lovely sister bought these for me and is quite handy to take on the go. I like the fact that I can screw them on to my Medela Harmony hand pump while I'm at work or on the road. All I do when I get home is date the bottles and put them in the freezer or the fridge. I keep some at granny's house, mom's house, and my sister's house for when they baby sit and since it holds such small portions, it doesn't take as long of a time to thaw out vs. a 5oz or larger container. Just make sure that you don't over fill the bottles when you freeze them because you need space for the milk to expand while in there and to thaw out. As my baby's appetite grows, they just thaw out more bottles. Its so simple. When me and my baby are on the go I just put the bottle in my car warmer and then screw on a nipple (yes you can use these with Medela nipples) and there you go. I even went out and bought another box of these things because its so great.

PLUS points -- Brand, BPA-Free, Portability, & Re-usable

NEG points -- 2.7 oz is OK for the beginning, but as your infant grows larger, 2.7 oz is not going to cut it. It's better to invest in the bags that hold 5 oz.

These storage bottles are the best for freezing breastmilk and keeping it from spoiling. I tried using the disposable storage bags, but the milk would go bad in the freezer after a couple of days. The storage containers are great because you can attach them directly to the pump and you can just pop a nipple on them when your ready to feed the little one.

i was a little dissapointed at first to find out that they were only 2.7 oz. but i like useing hard storage containers at work because i'm afraid that someone will set something ontop of a storage bag in the office fridge and end up puncturing or popping open one of my bags i dont bother useing them with my pump i just pour my milk into the tube when i'm done pumping also i may just not have found them yet but right now the only madela nipple i have is the one that came with my pump

My baby is a week old and I've been using the pump so these containers have came in handy. I love how the lids and nipples fit as if it were a bottle so it makes life easier.

I've used the storage containers for pumping (attached directly onto pump) and storing breastmilk. We've also used them for feeding the baby - simply attach nipple and ring and you're ready. We also use them periodically for a formula feeding - add water, formula, shake and go. These storable bottles are very convenient and very versatile.

These work great for pumping and storing. They fit right onto my Medela pump for easy use! Also have area for writing date on so you know exactly when the milk was pumped. The tall, narrow design also helps quicken defrosting time.

i got a bag of these at the hospital when my baby was hospitalized i pumped and put them in these bottles to store at hospital and i got tobring all the extras home. they work great as far asstoring and not spilling the milk but they take up way too much room. in the space to put three of these with two ounces in i can have my storage bags frozen flat with 3 oz each and store 8 of them
