An excellent toy for a young person who loves fire trucks. Well built with all the bells and whistles. Seems very durable. Time will tell.

The truck is very poor quality and not what I would expect from Tonka. The stickers on the truck were peeling the second it came out of the box. Very flimsy construction. Ladder is flimsy and doesn't move well. Unacceptable for a well known brand like Tonka. Not worth the price.

the fire truck was a gift from santa for my 4 year old son. He loved it. The ladder rotates using a lever on the side and the sirens are great. There is a second lever that controls the lights. I miss understood and thought the ladder also raised using the controls but it doesn't. It can be raised manually. The doors open and close and the fire truck is very cute overall and while i think the ladder would be better served as fully controlled by the levers to prevent accidental breakage when the child forgets that only one function is manual and the other controlled it does not seem to bother my son at all.

Ordered this from "Santa" for my 4 year old only to open it and find it defective on Christmas Day. The motorized ladder would not rotate, even with new batteries. Contacted seller and will be returning it this week.

My son thinks it's fun but the picture leads you to believe a firefighter is included and it's not which is disappointing. he still really enjoys the moving ladder and that the doors open.

My son is 4 and has had this toy for over a year. It held up to the abuse, but it's kinda lacking for the price. There are so many opportunities for levers and things to open and close, but there are only a few features. The ladder rotates and the lights and sounds are nice. The doors open for the firefighters to sit inside. Other than that, the toy does nothing else.

I moved to Berlin from Honolulu. I went to USA (Not my hometown) to get some props. there was this. It only has 4 LED lights, the ladder does not go up on it's own, makes a loop of at least 4 sounds, and it comes with a fireman which has paint rubbing off his face. I also waste a lot of time just moving the ladder left/right during animation because the switch is to small and hard to use. the little switch that is said to turn on/flash the lights only does the same thing as the switch that opens a little compartment - make sound and flash the lights. But a great prop for animation!

Our 2 1/2 year old son asked Santa for "a really really really big fire engine with a long long long ladder that goes up and up." This was the last thing we had to get before the big morning and it was crunch time. We got this a week before Christmas. To say he loves it would be an understatement! It even comes with a little fireman. This toy is built tough thankfully. He has even sat on it and pushed himself around the house!

The lights and sounds are loud enough for him but not too loud for us, and he loves the control for the ladder. This was the perfect present for our little man!

Purchased this for my Grandson for Christmas. He is 3 years old. He absolutely loves this toy!! He couldn't get it out of the box fast enough! Everything worked right out of the box; the lights, the ladder, doors opened no problem. It seems to be made very well and worth the money. Now this little guy really plays with his toys and so far nothing has went wrong.
