I am very surprised by the negative comments! I didn't love the bulkier strollers 3 years ago when looking for our first child. We got the Trevi and have loved it! Even though we now have two and bought the newest Chicco double stroller, we have kept our Trevi to use when we just have one of the kids. It is the perfect size, folds easily and is easy to open and use, even my mother can figure it out! Go try one out for yourself, don't take the words of someone you don't know...you might love it as I do!

I drive a very small car - a compact Scion, and was in search of a nice stroller which worked as a travel system with car seat, and was fairly compact when folded. Everything I read suggested that the Trevi was compact. It does fit in my Scion's hatchback... but it's NOT COMPACT. I wish I had done more research and gone with the Cortina. I loved the Keyfit 30 carseat, and the ease of snapping it into the stroller. It worked great while my daughter was in the carseat, for the first 3 months or so.

Using the stroller solo, it has become very frustrating. We've owned this stroller for 15 months, and granted, have put on a LOT of miles. The stroller has literally fallen apart. The wheels no longer want to turn, it squeaks and croaks, the front band cracked and broke and it looks pretty junky. The storage is not practical, as it's small, and you have to put the seat in it's upright-most position to even access the storage basket underneath.

The way this folds up makes it long and narrow, but there's no way to lock it together, so it's actually extremely bulky, and I have to slam the hatchback, to get this to fit in the car. My friend got a Cortina after having her baby, months after we had our Trevi, and it was much better quality! To my surprise, it folded up so much easier and stayed put, and FIT in my car's hatchback SO MUCH better. The Cortina is much more compact and stores easier than the Trevi, when folded up!!

If we have a second kiddo, I'll definitely use a different stroller to go with the keyfit 30 carseat - either a universal stroller, the Cortina, or a jog-version.

Now I'm in search of a high quality stroller that is made for mileage, for my 15 mo. old, and disappointed that we have to start over with buying one.
If you're an expecting mommy, I suggest making your stroller your "splurge" purchase - get a high quality one that costs more, works with your carseat, and can go the distance! Now I know....

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller - Adventure:

I bought the Chicco Cortina Stroller and love it but being that its pretty big. I wanted a smaller stroller that would except my infant car seat for my other truck. so I bought the Chicco Trevi Stroller and I love it. It's compact, easy to fold and light. I find myself using this stroller to the Cortina. I am able to remove the fabric which you'd have to unscrew the fabric from the fram which is fine with me as long as my son gets a clean stroller. It would be nice though if I could just unclip it instead. another things is that when the seat is reclined you're unable to access the basket under the seat. I also love the removable canapy and the removable cup holder for mommy and daddy. Over all great buy and I recommend this stroller to all of my friends and family!

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller - Adventure:

We have been using this stroller for almost two years now, and overall we wish we had picked a different stroller. This was very disappointing because we put so much thought into trying to minimize our stroller collection!

For the first year or so I used it around the neighborhood and out shopping. With the infant carrier it worked great. While not the most compact stroller ever (mostly when compared to the basic stroller I now throw in the car), I found it pretty easy to fold and it fit nicely in the trunk of my Jetta even with other stuff. Between the stoller canopy and the carseat canopy, my little guy was well protected from the elements. Once we started using the stroller without the carseat, though, the canopy was pretty useless -- too small to provide any shade. We bought an add-on shade that fixed that problem, but it makes the folding a tad more difficult if you don't want to take it off every time. Also, while I had read reviews that complained it was hard to steer with one hand and didn't have a cup holder, I didn't think that would matter to me. Turns out, it does! :)

After the first year, we moved to a house near town, and now I use the stroller to walk to places from our house, so I rarely fold it up anymore. I like the cup holder/bar across the child's seat more than I thought I would (I was worried at first that I would want to remove it, or at least swing it open, but I really don't need to and it keeps my toddler contained!). My main complaint it the steering. Especially as my little guy grew and got heavier, this stroller became *extremely* difficult to maneuver (I think the center of gravity compared is too far behind the front wheels)...even with two hands. We ended up locking the front wheels, which helps a little but also requires "wheelie turns" at corners. Again, it's hard to push with one hand, and since there isn't a cup holder for mom, that makes a huge difference if I have a drink with me. The other big con is that I can't remove the fabric part to wash it. Since we are in a relatively humid climate and the stroller stays outside, I'm starting to get some mold spots on the seat, and I'm frustrated that I can't take it off and throw it in the washing machine.

All that being said, it does an okay job. I just think there are better options out there.

Relatively lightweight, durable stroller. Nice big wheels. Folds compact and will fit smaller cars. Comfortable and roomy for baby. Only drawback is that basket is difficult to access when seat is fully reclined.

Great stroller, lighter than full-size strollers but has all the features of a full-size stroller.
It reclines back, has the snack tray, storage basket and very easy to fold up. Plus, the stroller maneuvers very easily. My 8-month son loves it.

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller - Adventure:

After searching for weeks for a lightweight stroller I'm so happy with my decision to get this one.. (even though it had poor reviews!) it's not as light as an umbrella stroller and definitely not as heavy as our travel system.. which is perfect. I love it because it has a child tray for my son's snacks and bottle.. and it has a place for me to hold a water bottle and a pocket to put my keys and phone in. It's wonderful. Looks great. Made well. Easy to maneuver. Only con is the hood doesn't block son as well as I'd hope but I have yet to have a stroller that did so I wasn't surprised. Basket is good too. Awesome stroller. Highly recommend! Don't understand why it has such poor reviews???

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller - Adventure:

The stroller was really good at first (like first couple months). Then the stroller would be hard to turn. When I would push the stroller my legs would keep bumping the back of it. Then 1 year later the rubber foot step snapped off when my son tried to sit up higher in his seat. So we had to tie a string through it to hold it up and so my son would have a place to put his feet. At that time he was like 27 lbs. I would not recommened this stroller. I have seen better ones out there even for the same price.

This stroller is for our fourth child. We've owned many strollers, and would not recommend this one. After just a few months, it doesn't turn properly, sunshade continues to fall off, and it is bulky. We converted to the Maclaren Twin and the Maclaren Quest. I love those!!!

Comments about Chicco Trevi Stroller - Adventure:

This stroller is light weight and folds small for transport. Those are the only good things about it! There are 2 bolts under a thin layer of fabric right were my sons temples are! He has had multiple bumps or welts from bumping his head om them. If the stroller is reclined you can't access the basket or any of it's contents. After one year of use the foam on the handles is wearing out and the back wheels are becoming increasingly less straight, making it hard to steer or back up. I will be purchasing a new one asap.
