I bought this for my son at about 4 months. He loved kicking it and hearing the sounds. We started using it for tummy time, and it was a success! He's now sitting up playing with it still. I like the 2 different positions it changes into, and its very light weight. I was pleasantly suprised at how it occupyed him for brief periods of time. The rattles also come off, so he can hold ad shake them. A great product overall.

I bought this when my son was 3months old, starting to swing and reach for things. I would lay him on his back and he would swing at the dangles making the noise and lights go. Once he grew longer/bigger he was able to kick the feet and it was great to see him light up. Through the stages of his growth he would still be intrigued by it even now that he is past one, standing/walking etc. This has been a great toy. Just understand what level your child is at and know the toy will do what is supposed to once the child is at that level.

My baby LOVES this gym. She never tires of it. We have used it in all of the positions shown. It's so much better than the activity mats.

My sister lent me this awesome toy for my baby boy to use. Her son also used it a lot when he was a baby. My son has been playing with it since he was about 2 months old. It's great because it has three positions: he can kick it when he lies back, he can enjoy the music and the colors when he gets on his tummy, and when he start sitting and standing up he can grab on to it. When he is fussy, I just throw a blanket on the floor, put him on his back and we play with the flower and the butterfly. His first lough out loud was when I was twisting the flower and the smiley face kept changing. We love this durable toy. This December we'll give it back to my sister, since she's pregnant with her second child.

I assumed that when your little one kicks his feet that it would then activate the movement and what not in the above activity center directly above his head but it didnt and that is the reason i dont like this particular toy it was boring and nothing special ... the equivalent that does what i described they no longer make and is made my fischer price i think they need to remake this item .... it motivates them to actually move and kick their feet .. this one does not do that and my little one had no interest in it

This product helped my son sit up by himself. We put it in the "tummy time" position and he sits in front of it. He began sitting up by himself immediately and plays with this all of the time now. He loves it! I wish it had a few more activities on it to keep his attention a little longer, but I would still highly recommend it. We got it when he turned 6 months old.

the baby cant reach anything laying on his back. the feet part should activate the lights. ugh. what a waste!

I had one a few years ago that when you kick it, it activates the lights. This one is a piece of junk. I wish I could find that older model again!

We tried to set it up for stage 1 - the area was too short in between the foot pad and the over head play area. - the foot pad needs a lot of pressure applied in order for them to work.

After that, we decided to set it up for tummy time - using the buttons to transition it down. Instead, I had to move baby away, take it apart, and put it together manually to get it in stage 2. I didn't like that.

Baby wasn't too responsive with it - seeing as that the dangling items were laying on the ground. So, I took the activity center part off and moved it to the crib - she likes it there.
