I really like this sofa. My daughter is 7 1/2 months, and she loves to lay down, sit, stand up, play and do all at the same watching backyardigans. I really think she will enjoy more later, but she likes it and you can take with you in trips so they can sleep. It does take some space in your living room, we have a small living room.

My husband and I bought this sofa last year on sale the day after Thanksgiving as a gift for my then 1yr old son. He's now 2 and still loves The Backyardigans and loves this sofa, its his own little spot when he wants to sit and watch movies and when he wants to nap, we are about to buy another for our 1yr old.

I really liked this sofa except it had a weird smell from the cushions and the velcro that held the cover to the sponge fell off when we took it off to wash. Also, the zipper didn't have a little holder for unzipping...i.e. we had to stick a toothpick into the zipper to unzip it. Too bad...I bought an Elmo sofa a while back and it didn't have these problems.

We've had this for about 8 months now. My 2 year old will climb out of her bed at night and curl up to sleep in this instead, so it must be comfy. It is a little confusing to put back together after washing, so I recommend making sure you know which piece went what way and where. We've washed it 2 or 3 times and had not zipper problems or fading. Fantastic, well worth the money.

My 1 1/2 year old loves this couch. She sits on it to eat and watch TV. If she is tired she gets up pulls it out to the bed style and lays on it. Besides the stains she has created it has held up well for the several months we have had it.

The sofa does have an unpleasant odor. A chemical smell of some kind. Not overwhelming, but I actually had to remove it from the living room and stick it in a back room for now---I am pregnant, so I may be super-sensitive to smells, but my husband did smell it too up close. My son doesn't seem to mind and still enjoys it. The cover is not as soft and durable as I thought. It is a felt-like fabric on most of the sofa. I haven't washed the cover yet, but imagine it would "ball-up" after just a wash or 2. Overall the couch for the price is very good compared to others. If I can get over the smell from the foam we'll be in good shape.
