    Great product...not for my pump...

    I read the package information for this product in the store and decided to purchase it so I could pump during roadtrips for my daughters. I didn't realize though until I got it home though...Read complete review

    I read the package information for this product in the store and decided to purchase it so I could pump during roadtrips for my daughters. I didn't realize though until I got it home though that it is a 9V adapter and my Medela Pump-in-Style is a 12V pump and this adapter is not supposed to be used with it. I can't find a 12V adapter anywhere and now either have to use a manual pump or batteries when traveling. Make sure you know which type of pump you have (it's on the front of your pump right below where you connect for the power supply) so you don't have to return the product like I did.

      I use it, of course, in the car when I'm pumping before & after work. Honestly, I do it when I'm driving. This adaptor is much better than the battery pack when I'm on the go. There's nothing I don't like about it. It gets the job done!

        Nothing to dislike about this product. It's perfect for my job; I'm on the road a lot and it's not always possible to find a private room to use my Medela PISA. So I leave the a/c and radio running in the car and just do what I need to do!! I prefer this over the battery back that came with the PISA as it seems to deliver more power for the suction.

I think the Medela website sells it as well. Worth is to purchase it now- you never know how long they will continue to sell it.

                  I really wanted this to work and wish I'd paid more attention, but this adapter didn't work with my pump even though it is a "Pump in Style" pump. Mine is too old apparently. It seems that Medela doesn't make one for older model pumps. I'm not buying another pump, so I just have to do without.

                                I can use the adapter on the go - I wish I had purchased it sooner! It has enough power for my pump to run regularly on high power so it dowsn't take long to pump. The 6-foot cord is great for sitting in the backseat of the car for extra privacy. I recommend it to anyone buying the Medela pump - buy this accessory right away! you will use it and it's worth every penny!
