        Be forewarned there is one rhyme in this book called Goosey Goosey Gander, in which the narrator throws an old man down a flight of stairs. I skip over that one when I read to my little girl.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              my daughter had this book from 8 months old and now she 3 years. It has been her all time favorite.She wants me to read it 5 times a day. Now she knows the words and hand signs to the rhymes.

                My mother reads this book to my 11 month old son almost every day and he loves listening to her and loves looking at the images on the page.
                it's a great way for them to learn the classic nursery rhyms becasue they are short and all on one page each.
                and the book is sturdy enough for him to handle on his own without worry of tearing.
