We were shopping in Toys R Us before Easter. This giraffe was on the bottom shelf of an end cap. My 2.5 yo was in the front seat of our double stroller & grabbed the giraffe shouting "My giraffe mama." And we were not leaving w/o it! He loves yellow. The giraffe has to be in the playyard w/ him (where he sleeps). He doesn't let anyone else play w/ him. Sometimes he even uses the giraffe as a pillow. I think the quality is excellent for [$]. And it is very realistic too & HUGE. We love this giraffe. The only bad thing I can think of is that I won't be able to toss it in the washer (I even throw "surface washable only" stuffies in the washer cuz if it needs washing...)

The support for the legs and neck is a thick wire which has very little padding around it, so the toy feels hard and wiry. Basically the opposite of soft and snuggly. I had to run out and find a last minute substitute for Christmas because there was no way I could give this to my daughter.

    My 9 yr. old granddaughter in school play Lion King....played a giraffe....so got this instead of flowers to give to her for her 3 great performances...plus she has from day one loved giraffes. This giraffe is of the highest quality and the expression is darling. So much toy for so little money. I was beside myself with joy and she sleeps with Spotty every single night....loved him soooooo sooooo much. Told all her friends about him.

        Our daughter asked for a "Mommy giraffe" for her baby (smaller) giraffe stuffed animal for her 3rd birthday, and this was absolutely perfect. Stands on its own, not too big, but big enough to make a wonderful impact on a 3-yr-old. It's soft, but not a floppy plush stuffed animal, it's more rigid, but that's exactly what I was looking for. The tag says an age of 0+, but like another reviewer mentioned, I probably wouldn't go that young...maybe 1.5 or 2 at the very youngest.

                    I am in LOVE with this giraffe! It's just adorable. I saw it online, and bought it because it was 1/2 off at the time, and I am SO happy I did. It stands up perfectly on all 4's and just looks adoarble. My little one has a safari themed nursery and I have this on the floor next to his dresser. It seriously makes the room! It's a decent height, and is super soft as well. I'm sure once my little one is older, he will love to play with this giraffe (he could ride it probably)! I've seen these elsewhere for WAY more $, and am SO happy I got mine for the price I did!

                    I loved the look of him and my 8 month old laughed and giggled when she first say him so I had to get it for her. The tag says 0+ but I noticed the fur on the mane easily pulls out and it's long so she can easily swallow or inhale the fur. Also it has button eyes that I'm sure aren't baby friendly. There's also wire in the legs that's obviously not soft. The quality's really not that great. The eye lashes are not properly attached. I won't return this but I certainly wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

                      I was very impressed with this product. I have been buying stuffed animals for my daughter's jungle baby shower, and this giraffe has given me the biggest bang for my buck. He is very tall and is going to look great at the shower.
