My son loves playing with this! He likes being able to push all the buttons, open the drawer and scan the food. The reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because 1. I found the drawer gets stuck a lot. The only way to fix it is to "unstick" it with your finger nail and then the button will open it. Something obviously a 3 year old cannot do themselves. 2. There is no where to store all the food 3. You cannot buy replacement parts (food/money) Once & awhile I'll see parts on [...] but that is it.

I bought this last Christmas for my boy when he was almost 2(his birthday is in Jan.) and he loves it. He plays with it often and loves that it says the name of the item scanned and the color out loud. It also says if the item scanned is a protein, veggy, fruit, ect. I would buy this again for my son. Plus an added bonus is that the batteries last forever. I have had to change them once or twice in the last 10 monthes.

This toy is very fun! For a 2 year old it entertains him longer than most toys. The buttons are easy to push and he caught onto the scanner part really fast. He loves the songs. I'm giving this toy a 4/5 because it does have one small con - The cash register drawer some times gets stuck if it's pushed back in too far and so when you hit the open button it won't open. You can easily stick your fingernail in there and pull it back out a little, but of course that is hard for a little kid to figure out. I can see this part breaking soon as it doesn't seem to be as durable/sturdy as the rest of the parts. Other than that this toy is great!

My sons are 1 & 3 years old, they loved this toy, however the cash register door broke after 2 days. Little tikes sent out another right away. And there is no volume control and it's a little loud!

I got it for my 3 year old great-niece for Xmas. She and my 8 year-old granddughter had a ball with it on Christmas Day.

I sent this toy to two different 2-yr-old children for Christmas -- one boy and one girl. Both of them love it! I was told that the older siblings and parents have had fun with it too. The toy should have been equipped with storage for the grocery items, but the kids don't seem to mind. It's always nice to get positive reactions to the gifts you send, so I am very pleased to have made these families happy.

Was our 2nd choice. Couldn't get Little People Learn About Town. Not sure if it has enough activities. Has Fisher Price durability.

This toy is very cute and my 3 year old daughter loves it. There are different options of games to play with it so it keeps her attention. The scanner feature is great and the cash register is very fun and easy to use. The pieces to scan are good size and seem very durable. I did luck out and got it when it was on sale for [$]. Not sure it would be worth the full price [$]. The only disappointing part is that they do not have additional foods items that you could buy separately.

This product is great! My neice who is three and into make believe- spent hours playing with it. Even the adults were amazed with all it could do!!!! Easy to put together, and very realistic. We love it!!!!

I bought this for my two and a half year old daughter for Christmas and this is her favorite toy. When she unwrapped all of her toys, this is the one she wanted opened right away. I looked at other cash registers for sale and decided on this one since it looked to be sturdy and for the learning features. She plays with this toy everyday. She loves that she can scan an item and it tells her what it is, what color it is, or what food group it comes from. I like the three levels of play. She likes taking the quiz and hearing when she gets it right. And she really loves the songs. She plays them over and over again and dances to them. The only thing I would change is the volume, like the other reviewers said. There are other toys she got for Christmas that had volume control and I love that! But overall, a wonderful toy for little ones.
