I purchased for my newborn. It worked for a few short months and now that it is Winter once again, I have to buy another. I'm upset because moms don't have money to blow and a humidifier is very necessary, esp when baby is congested.

I love this humidifier so much I bought 2 of them (for different rooms of course), but the cost of replacing the filters is ridiculous. It's the same deal as buying a printer, you get a good price but then end up spending hundreds a year to maintain the thing. The machine itself is quiet (I replaced 2 other humidifiers that sounded like sick air conditioners), and works very well. BUT the filter needs to be changed at least once a month if you use it every day, or else it starts to smell like a moldy old rat carcass. Nasty. The filters are $11 each, so it really does add up. So costly in fact that I only run my humidifiers in the very dry winter months, like November-February. There must be a better option out there, but I haven't found it yet.

Would not recommend this product. Humidifier has bad smell have had it for several months use it nightly. I think its the filter creating the smell, even with very frequent changes of it. I have to change it every two weeks. I left the filter in the humidifier for longer and mold began to grow. I am really disapointed with the product. On a possitive note can tell when it is working really does make air moist. Liked the gage for moister percentage.

Love this humidifier. I can change the humidity level I want and its quiet. Yes, its big, but a full tank lasts a couple of days and its easy to fill/carry.

My one complaint is that the filters are $11 and only available through BRU as far as I can tell. I'm currently looking to see if I can find another filter that will work and I can buy more conveniently.

We put this on our registry for our first child three years ago, and it's still working well -- we even use it in our room. It's quiet except on the most forceful setting, but otherwise I have no real complaints.

We have had problems with this humidifier since we purchased it. We had to buy a new filter every few weeks even after using filtered water. The second month we had it, the humidifier started making squeaking noises when you turn it on. Its been a year now and it finally quit working on us. We could have purchased a new humidifier with the cost of the filters. That probably would have been the smart thing to do!

Bought this humidifier to help with some extremely dry winter air in my apartment. I needed something that would put out a lot of moisture quickly & quietly as my apartment is basically one huge open space. After trying several other popular humidifiers I can say hands down this is the best one I've tried! During the day I run it on high in my main living area to keep the moisture up, and at night I bring it into the bedroom, turn in on its low mode and I can barely tell its on and it STILL keeps the moisture levels up! Remember to flip the filter daily, and let it run empty every few days to dry the filter out completely. Regular washing is also important, and is so easy! Everything just goes into the dish washer! No tools, no fuss!

Ive been using this humidifier almost daily for 2.5yrs. Its perfect. I put it on quiet mode, it turns itself on and off when needed. It has never given me any issues and has never woken my son.

I bought this for our second child in November. It worked great for the first 3 months, then it started making this rattling noise and after a few days of the rattling, the motor stopped working. I was very upset because it was almost [$] dollars and we definetely didn't get our money's worth out of this one. Would not buy again.

This is a Fantastic Cool Mist Humidifier!!! I love the 3 settings - it can be quiet, it can get the job done fast, or it can be on reg. mode. It fills up soooo easy, never drips, and lasts for days without refill!!!
My son sleeps with it on all the time and never wakes him up. LOVE LOVE LOVE It!
