    This is a GREAT beginner set for Mah Jong fans! There is one major issue that does need to be addressed by the manufacturer. When you play Mah Jong you have 13 tiles in your hand (14 for the Charleston if you are the dealer) and the width of the rack is only good for holding appros. 12 tiles...it is just a tad too short and this is very frustrating to the player. We ended up putting some tiles sideways in front of another to solve the problem but another inch or two in the width of the rack would make all the difference. We were thrilled to find this set...a normal Mah Jong set is in the $100 range and we play with our kids, so it nice to have a set that we feel comfortable to use and enjoy!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
