This monitor doesn't work. It worked well at first then suddenly we noticed the baby was crying, but the monitor wasn't picking his crying up. We tried changed the station, new batteries, keeping it plugged in, different locations etc. It buzzes like it's working but sometimes it'll pick the crying or noises up and sometimes, nothing. I do not recommend this product as it only works occasionally! It'd be worth it to pay the extra money to get a more expensive monitor that actually works!

We are very unhappy with our baby monitor. The lights are a great idea and we love that part of it. However, the monitor overall is awful. We have horrible static and interference. We pick up radio stations constantly and have even heard the baby across the street cry. I went into the nursery thinking something was wrong with my baby and she was sound asleep not making a peep. It was the neighbor's baby. Crazy! I would recommend getting a baby monitor free of static, interference, and other babies!

this was the worst baby monitor ever all you hear is pure static the louder you turn the volume up the worst it gets i wouldnt even use this junk to hear my worst enemy

I love this monitor, I havent had one problem with it. I live in an apartment, (1 floor) so I'm not sure how it'd do on a 2 floor.

I can hear my baby whether i'm 5 feet away or 25 feet away.
Theres a little static, but it goes away as soon as baby is makes the slightest noise.
I havent ever used a battery. So, I'm not sure how the battery life is..

There's only static interference when the volume is set too high. You don't need the maximum volume because red lights alert when there's noise. The receiver works all around the house including the back and front yard! This monitor is easy to use and comes with chargers so you don't have to worry about batteries.

I got this monitor as a gift. It works fine inside a house, but when you go to the garage it loses the coverage. It does not work in a garage as well as outside. If you plan on spending your whole life inside the house, the monitor is an exact match for your needs. For outdoor people, do not even bother trying it. It will not work long distance at all.

Needed a monitor for my grandchild. I have the one with 2 monitors. Purchased and worked good for 6 months maybe less. Then one monitor kept going out of range and stopped working even when plugged in. The other one still works but will go on and off.

Please, please don't waste your money on this terrible monitor. You'd be better off to the the [$] and flush it right down the toilet or pay it to a neighbor kid to blow an airhorn in your ear for 30 minutes or so. Seriously, both of those are better uses for you money than purchasing this monitor.The static is ridiculous. It's true that I can hear my son if he needs me in the night, but only if he cries louder than the static is already buzzing. I hate this monitor. It is beyond a shadow of doubt the worst purchase we made for our baby.

We bought this monitor when my son moved into his crib from the bassinet. It worked fine for about 2 months then one night just decided to die. The lights work great but no sound!! Obviously, thats not helpful. Also had lots of static but at least I could hear him if he was crying....Like everyone else said....thats what I get for going cheap!!!!

We bought this monitor because we lived in a one bedroom apartment when our daughter was first born so we didn't need to spend the extra money for an elaborate monitor. We moved when our daughter was 1 month into a bigger house. This monitor is horrible. At first it had a lot of static, now in the middle of the night it shuts off (even plugged into the wall). I guess thats what you get for buying a cheap monitor.
