The setup was pretty straight forward, as long as you follow the directions step by step, you shouldn't have any issues with it. When the pool was about half full of water it looked as though the sides wouldn't be straight, but as it fills they straighten out on their own. We have the Saltwater system to go along with it, I would highly recommend getting that, it makes things much easier! [...] Hopefully we don't need them again though! The vacuum system works surprisingly well, the only thing it doesn't pick up in our pool is little gravel pieces that get in there, but dirt/leaves get sucked up easily. Overall we love the pool!

This is a good buy for the price. It was fairly easy to set up with 2 people. Make sure your ground is level and I recommend sand. The tarp makes the whole set-up look cheap but some pebbles and landscaping rocks will take care of that... The pump it comes with is definatley inadequate, going to upgrade to the 2500gph model which is a cheap enough fix. Also, make sure you do as the directions say and put the wood under the legs if you are installing on the ground. All-in-all this pool has created and fun environment in my back yard.

We love our pool! It was the best purchase we made this summer. Our children who are widely spread apart in age (15,12,7& 5) ALL love it. It is something they can do together. I suggest you upgrade to the bigger pump though, the one that comes w/this pool just doesn't cut it. My husband was constantly cleaning the pool but w/the upgrade it has been nice and clear!

We have had nothing but good times so far with this pool. Just a few things that need improvement, hence the 4 stars. 1) needs a better, more stable ladder, 2) I could not get the vacume to work properly. Fought with the air in the line then gave up. As an experienced pool owner, should be easier 3) My filter cartriges get dirty really fast. Not a heavy populated pool so I guess my filter is working really good. Will consider the saltwater system next year. Pool is definetly larger than the picture. Definetly worth it.

We Love this pool!! we purchased it last year and we were in it the whole summer....Easy to clean except getting dirt from the bottom so I bought the 2500 pump hopefully that will work better than the pump it came with....Its a lot bigger than it looks on the website. Get the floating chlorinator and use the tabs it kept pool clean all summer...

This pool is very nice and my sons love it. It was easy to set up and now that we've upgraded to a 2500 GPH pump, easy to keep clean. The filter/pump that came with it (1500 GPH) was not adequate to keep the water clean. We have lots of swimming parties; the pool is very sturdy. I purchased the saltwater/chorinator and I can't say enough GREAT things about it!!! The pool water is balanced; only occasionally do we have to add salt pellets. I still haven't used the bag of pellets we bought almost a year ago. The size (rectangular) fits our unique yard shape, whereas a round pool would have had to be much smaller.

My two girls love this pool. They ask to swim every day. The filter system works great, but you do have to keep up with the filter changes to keep the water clear. I also bought a floating chlorine dispenser which now keeps the water crystal clear and lessens the frequency of the filter replacements. [...]Overall, this pool is an excellent value and a GREAT addition to our backyard.

Wonderful, wonderful pool. so much bigger than it looks on the website and if i built a deck around it, would feel like a built in...However, the ground MUST be level. It took a day in 100 degree heat to do this and we are about 1 inch off (from about 6 inchs to start) .. which is pretty good. I wish the ladder was better. Great for kids, but for parents whose butts may be more than 12 inches wide, makes it a little hard to get into the pool!!!! [...]

I Love this Pool . It's alot bigger than expected.Ican actually swim the length, and my Family has great fun with it. Fun,Fun,Fun. We had a BarBQ, and swam, bought some more fun things for our pool. Oh also the size fit right into our Backyard, no Problem and we set it on our Concrete Patio. Easy to set up and clean. We also bought a salt water generator. This was well worth the Money and so was the pool.Thank You Intex For all the great fun we've already had, and thanks for alot more to come. Linda.
