This is a great high chair. I use it all the time. I have it in my kitchen and my 6-month-old loves sitting in it and watch me take care of errands. She seems very comfortable in it. The tray is a perfect size for those tiny arms and hands. Also very easy to clean.
The adjustable foot rest is great so they can rest their feet rather than having them dangling while sitting. It is a light chair to move around the house. I just grab it by the back of the seat and move it. The base looks big in the pictures but it actually isn't.
I really like this chair. It also looks great in my kitchen. It's a nice piece of furniture.

We bought this chair because we loved the fact that it would look good in our home and we would be able to use it for more than a high chair. We love it because our 6 month old daughter loves it. In addition to eating in it she spends time in it everyday hanging out in the kitchen while we get dinner ready or clean up from the day. She seems very comfortable and we have never had a concern for her safety. It is lightweight and easy to move about the house- we often take it outside to the patio so she can enjoy outside time with us during dinner. We do recommend getting one of the pads to make it more comfortable for the little ones.

I purchased this high chair as a baby shower gift for my brother and sister-in-law. They love it! It is a quality piece of furniture that converts from a baby high chair to a toddler seat and pre-school age table chair. I highly recommend the Svan high chair to everyone.

We bought this chair for our son when he was ready for a high-chair around the age of one. I loved the thoughtful design and the fact that it isn't bulky. It's also fairly easy to clean. But as time wore on, the tray latch became loose so it could come detached too easily if you leaned on it. And then as my son grew (around 2 years of age) and became more mobile he would lean his upper body weight onto the tray causing the entire chair to flip frontwards and fall to the floor! This happened twice and it scared us to death. Thankfully he was more alarmed by the fall than hurt by it, but it was enough for us to retire the high-chair. I'm still not sure what exactly caused the falling (the tray? his weight?) but it was disappointing. We are expecting our 2nd baby now and really want to be able to use the chair again (because we spent $$$ on it and I love the design) but I'm very leary. My husband is a furniture designer so I'm hoping he can secure the tray well enough that we feel secure enough to use it again, at least until the baby is 2 years old.

The design is great, and without the tray, the baby can sit right up to the table. The tray is smaller which allows the baby to sit closer when it is installed, but also means that it is easier to throw things onto the floor.

This chair was very easy to put together & it's sturdy. It's a great looking piece of furniture & we've received many compliments. I also like that it's easy to clean & doesn't take up much room. And it will grow with my son. What can be better than that?

This chair is an investment but worth every penny!!! We have used ours straight for 2 children in 4 years. It grows with them, is in great condition, and blends in with the dinning room chairs so it's not an eye sore. I would highly recommend it.

this is a great chair. We did not want a big bright plastic high chair with ugly designs. This works perfectly. high quality. plastic tray is simple and easy to clean. We insert pictures and art postcards under the plastic tray for her to look at while she is eating. She sits in it comfortably and plays for a while after eating.

After debating & researching whether to get the Svan or the Stokke, I decided on the Svan since for a couple of reasons...The Svan comes w/ a tray & the Scvcan seemed safer for using at 6 mths. I just rec'd it last night & it was easier than I expected to assemble which was nice! I put my daughter who is 5 1/2mths old in it this morning & she seems comfortable & happy in it. It doesn't look any thing like those plastic eye sore high chairs! I'm still debating whether or not to buy the cushion. I still think there a bit over priced but I would recommend so far!

We recieved this as a gift after our son was able to sit up on his own, and we LOVE IT! It fits into our small dining area, and was perfect for having him sit with us at the table, but still straped in! Now that he is almost 3 we are still using it. He loves being able to climb up on his own, and have his feet rest comfortably, and not dangle towards the ground. We did have a regular plastic booster seat to begin with, but it was always hard to clean the booster and the dining room chair. The Svan is super easy to wipe down after every meal.
