We ordered this online to match some other oak furniture in our daughter's room when her crib was recalled. Ordering online was a BIG mistake. By oak they mean orange. I pulled it out of the box and it looked like they had stained in with an orange highlighter. It was definitly the wrong color for us! I thought it might just be one piece that had been mis-stained, but we ordered the conversion kit and it was orange as well. Luckily they let us exchange it in store in a near by town, so we were able to get one that day that did work. Last time I buy furniture online! BTW- we got the Heritage Oak collection from Baby Cache and liked the colore sooo much better.

The crib is nice and it was shipped pretty fast. My husband put together the crib in 2 hours with no problems. It looks good. One problem we encountered with this crib is that our standard LA Baby mattress does not fit the crib. All dimension requirements seem to work but there is an inch gap between the rails and the mattress. That worries me. I am afraid I will be returning the mattress. I read some reviews some people had issues with this crib and standard mattresses. Any suggestions on what mattress should I buy to fit this crib?

This is a very nice crib. It's a little more of a golden/amber color than it looks in the photo, but it's still very pretty. [...] The crib seems very sturdy and well-made and has not been scratched so far. The bottom storage space is not an actual drawer but a wheeled compartment that fits underneath. It is still useful for storing things like blankets, though. The screws are exposed (it did not come with plugs to cover them), but that does not take away from the look of it. I'm assuming they probably did it that way to make it easier to convert it to a bed later on. Overall, we are very pleased with it!

We picked this crib out because its a 4-in-1 crib and we thought it would last us longer than a regular crib. We have been using it for a little over a year now and I like it for the most part. I was disappointed with the color, it is more orangey than I expected, but its not bad. Its not the best quality crib, but its holding up good. We also didn't want to spend a ton on a crib so for the price its worth the money. Hoping it lasts us many more years! I'm short and have no problem putting the baby in and out of the crib.

Love the crib. My baby girl is not here, but I just love the wood etc.The directions were a little vague otherwise any baby would be lucky to have such a beautiful cirb.

I love the color! The scooped guardrail makes it easy to get baby in and out, without the safety hazard of amoving piece. Feels very sturdy and heavy. I like the lightweight drawer underneath where I store extra bedding (no for heavy items). My daughter is now 6 months and really enjoys it!

Two reasons it didn't get 5 stars: 1. the assembly was no fun, but I suppose that's the way it goes with pre-fab, assemble-yourself products 2. The rails are so thick it's hard (read darn near impossible) to attach a mobile and some crib toys.

The picture matches the product that I received so I'm glad for that because I went by the picture instead of the name of the color. There's such a variation in cribs and the names of their colors.

Other reviewers complained of no pegs to cover the holes but I believe the reason they don't have them is because the pegs are a choking hazard.

I'm worried about the trundle drawer because it is pretty flimsy and when my daughter gets older will probably sit in it and I doubt it will hold her weight. Good place for diapers and wipes or blankets though.

Altogether it was worth it for me. I was exactly what I was looking for and it makes her dresser perfectly.

The crib comes totally unassembled except for the slat parts. It's kind of crazy to me. This is my 3rd crib so I know what I'm talking about here. They definitely don't make it easy for you. The material does feel pretty flimsy until it is all put together. Then it feels fairly sturdy.

Also, it doesn't seem to mention it in the description or anywhere but this is the only crib I found that came with a converter toddler rail. Which is great because they can be hard to find.

Ordering this bed couldn't have been easier. [...] Putting the bed together was according to directions and took about an hour or less. The bed is sturdy and well made. Baby sleeps comfortably through the night. Thank you Toys R Us.
