I appreciated the reviews I read of this cradle before I bought it, so I thought I would include my rave review. This cradle looks like it costs a lot of money! It is beautiful, easy to put together, sturdy, has a perfect amount of rocking ability, and is a very special addition to our bedroom. I was a bit surprised by how large the cradle is, so make sure you have enough room for it, but it's truly a beautiful piece of furniture. I highly recommend it!

This is a very good looking cradle with super easy assembly (1 person alone with no special tools). I found it to be very sturdy once assembled- I was originally worried about the quality of the locking mechanism, but its simple design appears to work flawlessly to prevent rocking when in the locked position. Allows for just enough rocking when unlocked.

Aesthetically, this cradle looks very expensive. The detail on the side is well done and rivals more expensive cradles I've seen. Only complaint is the mattress that comes with it is VERY thin (1") and made of a rather cheap looking plastic. Have read some complaints about the DaVinci cradle mattress quality (for the one that is sold separately); we have not used it yet so I can't attest to how it holds up after use. We will be buying a separate cradle mattress and replacing the DaVinci version.

All in all I recommend if you're looking for a visually appealing, seemingly functional cradle for bedside or living room use.

Very durable piece of furniture. Easy to put together. Sturdy. The locking mechanism works well to keep the cradle sturdy. I read a prior review saying that it would tip of easily, however you'd really have to lean on it for that to happen. The detail on the sides is awesome. Very happy with my purchase.
