These are the ONLY pads I've found that are actually shaped like a breast, meaning they are truly contoured. They come contoured- not flat and you crease them. I have tried many for this pregnancy because for some reason my usual retailer no longer sells them. Until I get to the other side of town where the babies r us is, that is. The flat ones are awkward- the are uncomfortable and always itch because they don't lay right. So glad babies r us still sells these. I'm not here often but the large pack size lasts a while until my next trip. The one downside (lost a star for this) is volume capability, which, after trying others I now know, is much lower. For those who have good supply, this can be bad at night. So, I use the other brand at night and the j&j ones during the day.

These nursing pads are small and you can see the outline through any lightweight top. The brand promotes a nipple indentation, which is supposed to make the pads more comfortable. They really aren't more comfortable and the indentation shows through your shirt, as well. I am using these up at home but have gone back to my old brand for wear outside the house. Also, assuming the visibility issue is not a concern for you, these pads are not individually wrapped, so they are harder to take with you if you want to change them away from home. Finally, there is only one strip of adhesive, so they don't stay in place as well as other brands that have two strips of adhesive. I would not recommend this product.

Comments about Johnson & Johnson Nursing Pads - 60 Count:

I've tried all the breast pads out there. Disposables of every brand, cloth/reusable of many brands and/or homemade. Hands down, the J&J are my favorite. These are discrete, comfortable, and soft. They won't dry stuck to your nipples and rip off (ouch!) the next time you go to feed your kid- like some other pads. The edges aren't scratchy on the sensitive breast skin because the contour and indent make these very comfortable. They even work overnight once kiddo is sleeping through. I read other reviews about the "nipple indent" showing through clothing (bra and shirt)- I've never had that issue so I can't speak to it. These are seriously the best breast pads ever nad I buy a box for each of my new mom friends. Go get you some!

Comments about Johnson & Johnson Nursing Pads - 60 Count:

These are the only breast pads that work for me and I've tried MANY! None are absorbent enough or contour enough to the breast so that milk doesn't run down and escape the pad (especially at night). These are the absolute BEST!!! I love how thick and absorbent they are!

This product is great because they don't get wet and squishy like other products. I always feel dry with these. Some other get really jelly and stinky, not with these!

I don't know why these nursing pads aren't more readily available. I've tried them all and these are my all-time favorite. First, they hold their shape better than others, which makes them MUCH easier to slide back into place when that darling baby has dozed off after nursing. Second, they are more absorbent than others. I even use them to mop up excess milk from baby's face as we're wrapping up. I always include a box of these in shower gifts to new mamas.
