This swing is amazing. My daughter is 7weeks old and this is all she sleeps in. We love the adjustment on the back to tilt her head up. The swing is designed so if she stirs in the night it swings and lulls her back to sleep. It breaks down very easily and we have taken it on vacation. My only complaint is that the sheets are expensive and hard to find. Im so glad we bought this is has been a life saver.

I bought this in lieu of the AMBY (glad I did since the AMBY has been recalled). I was having twins so I couldn't justify spending the $ on two AMBY's. The Cocoon sleeper was my best investment. This product exceeded my all my expections and then some. My twins LOVED them so much that I was really afraid of transferring them to thier cribs. They started sleeping throught the night @ 8 weeks. I finally transferred them to thier cribs @ six months although they were perfectly fine staying in there longer. We only transferred them because I wanted to get the cocoons out of the nursery. When they were newborns, they would sleep together in one sometimes. Well worth the investment.

My 7 week old would almost always wake when put down and hardly slept at night. I was hoping he could put himself to sleep or put himself back to sleep if he woke up. He is just as terrible sleeper in this as anything else. It is hard to gently lay him down you have to reach so far in. If I try to swing him to sleep, it would take a very long time. It may work for your baby, but not us.

Our baby girl, Zoe, slept in this swing, in our room for her first 2 months. She was always swaddled and we only used it for night sleep, never naps. She is a very good sleeper and has always only woken once during the night. As she got older, she slept through the night. I liked that it kept in some heat, as Zoe was born in Nov and we always sleep with a window open at night. If she was in an open bassinet, I was afraid she would be cold. After 2 months, we moved the swing into her room, to get her used to sleeping in there alone and she was fine. We eventually moved her to her crib and we put the swing away (for our next kid!)

Zoe loved her swing and so did we.

My nugget refused to sleep at all during the night when we brought her home from the hospital. She would cry from 10 pm until 8 am. I didn't know what to do for her and it was really frusturating. I found the cocoon on this website and we were willing to try anything. From the very first night we have used it our daughter has slept through the night...every night. I don't use it during the day at all, not even for naps. We use it strictly for nighttime sleeping. It's easy to put together and to take apart for travel. I read that someone had complained of a smell but we didn't have that problem at all. I would recommend this product to anyone. We love it and our baby loves it.

The hammock-style design cranes my baby's neck forward when he is swaddled (no matter how it is adjusted or how far back I place him). At age 4 months he is still unable to sleep restfully unless he is swaddled; therefore, this product is probably my least used baby item.

*Note: this is a quality product and an ingenious design - it would probably work better for a baby who doesn't require swaddling.

My little one absolutely loves the cocoon! She has reflux so we allow her to sleep in it day and night. We also use her crib wedge in it to give her a little more inclination. I am not looking forward to moving her to a crib BUT we have LOVED this product. She won't sleep in anything else. Very cute also! And.. people have complained about baby "slouching" in the cocoon... if you have the back of the cocoon adjusted correctly and you have baby in the right place.. there should be no problem at all!

Product is as described, but our baby just won't sleep in it (or anything else we've tried; and we've tried just about everything!)

We have a 6 week old baby born 5 weeks premature. The only place she will sleep for more than a half hour is in mom or dad's arms. Not this product's fault, but we had high hopes based on the other reviews.

This worked very well for us. My second child would only sleep on my chest until I heard about how well this worked for my sister-in-law's baby. So we bought one for ourself and it worked great! The only thing to watch is if you don"t have AC and it gets real hot in your room, your baby can be hot too so dress him/her lightly.
