The mixer is used by neice she is two years old and she likes to bake and cook of course pretend. So this was a perfect Christmas gift for her, make sure you use good batteries. I like that it lights up and she is able to carry it around from table to table.

Also it makes noise as if it was mixing something in the bowl. Of course it's plastic so do be careful with handling.

My two girls aren't that rough on toys, so I'm sad this toy stopped working. We changed the batteries, but the motor had just given up after 3 days of playing. [...] I don't have high hopes that this new one will last much longer, [...]

My daughter got this for Christmas. It was the top thing on her list. Imagine her dissapointment when it broke two weeks later. I would have taken it back but no longer had the box. Tried new batteries, took it apart, nothing worked. It just wouldn't mix any more. [...] The price is $10.00 more than what I paid for it at Christmas time.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My daughter enjoys this toy and it is a good addition to her toy kitchen. You have to be a little careful with it because it is plastic. If it were banged too hard I think it might break, but overall a good product.
