This product has been so easy to use. It easily attaches to my medela pump. I have never had any leaks or spills with these liners. I love that I can pump, freeze and feed all from the same liner. I think it reduces the chance of contaminating anything and it's "daddy proof". The only downside is the cost, but the convenience is worth it for me (I think of how much cheaper it is than formula!). My baby takes these nipples and has had no problems with nipple confusion. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I have an ameda pump that I love and this attaches to my pump perfectly. I love the bags because warming milk in the plastic bottles with warm water takes so long and this speeds up the process. Also, I like that I don't have to wash as many dishes after pumping. They freeze great. The bigger nipple on the bottles these fit into tends to leak less during a feeding. If you don't like pumping straight into the bag you can always fit a bottle on the end so it stands up. I noticed another mom made the point that when she pumps she gets 2 oz on one side and 2 oz on the other, to combat this issue and save on bags I use a bag on one side and an ameda bottle on the other side, and then dump the bottle contents into the bag.

Just purchased this system for a young friend expecting her first baby. Love that she will be able to pump with her Medela pump, freeze, and feed all in one bag with the use of the Playtex Drop-ins Nurser System. Researched many options for pumping, storage, and feeding before making the purchase. This system has the highest ratings, fewest complaints, and is the most economical I have found.

One great idea I ran across on another site that will minimize cost. Freeze the milk in the liner/ring assembly. Once the milk is frozen, date the liner, remove the adapter rings and store the frozen milk in a large freezer bag. Once the freezer bag is full of the individual liners full of frozen milk, it can be taken to the childcare provider to be fed to baby. Only 2 kits (12 rings with 4 adapters) would be needed for this method. Minimizes start-up costs AND still provides the convenience of this fantastic system.

I breastfed my children and used the (old!) Playtex Nurser system with my boys (now 20 and 16). We had no nipple confusion issues. The disposables eliminate issues with nipple collapse, colic, and spit-up. They were easy to clean with a standard bottle brush with few parts--no valves, tubes, etc. to clean/store/assemble. I have also been a childcare provider (~30 years experience) in daycare, church nurseries, and my own home and have used about every bottle out there. Disposables are the best!

I use these for storing pumped milk, work great and have not had a leak yet. Just wish there were more in the set. I bought two sets but still run out and I don't have that much milk stored.

This is a great kit to buy. I have a Medela pump and the adapter makes it work perfect with this kit. I love the bags! I kept dumping milk all over the counter instead of into the bottles with my old Lansinoh freezer bags. I like this Playtex system so much better. No more dumping with one hand while holding a screaming baby. And the playtex liners are cheaper than the milk bags as well! I have had no problems with leaks in the fridge or freezer. Also, my baby is very picky with bottles (she won't even take pacis) and she does great with these Playtex nipples. She spits up alot less when she takes a bottle as opposed to breastfeeds. I would highly recommend this system.

It comes with 2 adapters and it works with the medela advance pump in style. Easy to set up within 20sec and no worries of spilled milk. I just pump directly in liner and pack in the diaper bag the next morning for daycare. I only wish the liners was a 5oz rather than a 4oz. Other than that it's worth buying for those working or on the go moms.

I LOOOOVE this storage set! You can pump the milk directly into the bag, seal it, and freeze it. Just add to a Playtex bottle, and then you're ready to feed! It saves so much time from washing because you can just throw way the liner afterward.

I also just pump directly into a bottle if I'm going to use the milk the next day. It saves so much time!

This sounded like a great idea but in practice it's flawed.

I'll start with the positive:
-My breast-fed baby started taking the Drop-In bottles at about 4 weeks and never had any trouble switching between bottle and nursing.
-Once you've got the correct amount of milk stored in the liner, it's really easy to prepare bottles for caregivers.

Negative factors:
-It's awkward to not be able to set the phalanges down after pumping because the liners are just flimsy plastic. There's alot of potential for spillage. Instead I just pump into the bottles that came with my Ameda pump. They fit tightly into the holders on the pump and I don't have to worry about spilling any milk.
-My baby takes 4 oz. of milk at a time. Drop-Ins would work if I pumped exactly 4 oz. on each side each time, but that's not the way it works. I get different amounts on each side and almost always less than 4 oz. So if I pump say, 2 oz, I then put that expressed milk in the refrigerator. I can't then pump more into that liner later because you aren't supposed to mix cool and warm milk. I have to wait until all the milk is cooled and then mix.

No matter what I would have to transfer milk around between bottles, liners, whatever. My system now is to pump into the Ameda bottles and then every couple days I set everything up on my counter and transfer the milk into 4 oz. portions in the Drop-Ins. Drop-Ins haven't saved me any time at all.

I'll stick with them because my baby takes the bottle nipple with no problems and I like that I can put several "servings" in the diaper bag without taking up as much space as traditional bottles. It doesn't take MORE time than other bottles, but it's not a time-saver either.
