    I realize, it must be hard to make clotes that will fit on an Ariel Doll... But the bottom part of this outfit --- doesent fit her!!! If you buy this doll, before your child takes her bottom off --- SUPER GLUE it on!!! It almost seems as tho, when my daughter took the bottom off, Ariel gained 5-10 lbs and is now too hippy for it! There is no way to get her back in it! The back has a tiny piece of velcro to close it together. Once you slide both legs into a mermaid sized leg hole made for one leg, then her hips get in the way - and its next to impossible to get the 2 velcro pieces to touch. They never come close to actually being useful to attach it - so, somehow during play she wiggles right back out of it! (and I was worried about her loosing her seashells!)Its like me trying to fit myself into my senior prom dress! I would suggest trying a different doll than this one!

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      My Daughter loves this doll and she has the matching horse.
      My only problem is on the horse box they show this doll in a pink dress and we are not able to find the dress. I really hate it when they do that. My daughter keeps begging for the pink dress.

            Nice doll for my 3 year old daughter but the flipper garment kept coming off and would not stay on. The doll's backside was alwasy exposed because the garment did not fit correctly. The velcro just was not big enough and the garment fit very "low rider" like som ejeans teenageers wear. My daughter kept having me fix the flipper because Ariel's butt kept peeking out or it was falling off.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                This is one of my daughter's favorite dolls. She likes that when you take Ariel's outfit off she has regular legs. However, the fins ripped off immediately after playing with it and I had to use a seam-ripper to open up the bottom of her outfit to sew the fins back on.
