The Johnny Coupe is a sporty, easy-to-drive, childhood introduction to the world of radio-controlled cars. We bought this for my two year old son. It took us a LONG time to find an r/c that was age appropriate (we'd almost given up and left the store) but we found this over in the toddler section of TRU. He's pretty thrilled by it! At this point, he's only managed to figure out how to hold one button down and crash it into things, but when we play with it, he giggles and chases it around the living room. We can't be at one end of the living room and control it from the other, which is kind of a drag for us - but while he's playing with it he's too busy chasing it to notice. This is a durable little car, and we LOVE it, and for the price, it's a pretty decent purchase.

This is an adorable remote control car. At first, we were so happy with our purchase for our son. He LOVED it. It is durable and the button size on the remote is perfect for a toddler. UNFORTUNATELY, it eats up so much battery power (it requires 7) that the batteries run out after about 15-20 minutes of play. We gave up replacing the batteries and it just sits at the bottom of our toy chest. It had so much potential as being a five star toy:( Too bad.

    Once of the best purchases we ever made for our grandson. Purchased when he was 18 months and still one of his favorites. He couldn't operate at first and now is a pro (30 months), but, loved watching us run it. One should turn off when not using though. Love the fact that the remote fits into the car and not easily lost. Our 4 year nephew will be getting one for Christmas - he loved it!! This car has been dropped, thrown and stepped on and continues with great performances.

    Even though I read the reviews, I still couldn't believe they would sell a toy that dies after few times of playing so we went ahead and bought it. My daughter absolutely loved it, too bad because it stopped working after the 3rd play. Tried everything, changed all the batteried twice, including the remote control's and the car is still not moving an inch. Reviews are correct, [...]... !!! DO NOT BUY ! WASTE OF MONEY !!!

                Bought this for my 3-year old nephew. He loved it and was able to operate it with ease. Goes pretty fast. The only downside is that you have to be within 4 or 5 feet of it or it stops working - so they have to willing to run around with it.

                  Johnny Coupe is an excellent first r/c toy! He goes forward, reverse, left and right, and he can move pretty fast too! My little girl (who just turned 3) loved him!                   My kids love this toy. My son loves to turn it upside down and try to figure out how it works. My daughter just likes to drive it. It's fast and easy to use the remote. The only bad thing is it goes through batteries very quickly. I invested in rechargable batteries just for this toy.
