Crotch strap only has too locations, both far closer to the back of the seat than any others. Our 41 inch 29 LB (crazy skinny) GIRL was sitting on TOP of the srap outlet when it was in the furthest out location. Can't imagine how bad that would feel on "boy parts", or a child of average or heavy weight. Returned it within 2 hours. I saw this complaint alot in the reviews but figured it just could not apply to our skinny little thing with no butt. We were wrong.

I was looking for a car seat for the babysitter's car and so far this has worked out well. Easy to install, comfortable, and safe. While it can be used for 20 pounds and over, I would like to address the previous reviewer who stated that she would be using this for her 14 month-old daughter. I would not advise having your daughter forward facing yet. As another reviewer stated, a child is 500% safer riding rear facing at least until the age of 2. I got this car seat for my step son in 2008, I love the fact that he can pretty much use it til he graduated high school! lol It's really that all in one car seat! He is going on 4 this month and still using the 5 point harness. I plan to use it as long as he can stand it. I love the car seat, but my only problem is when he is sleeping his head falls forward. I hate that because I'm sure it hurts! I have the lil pillow to put around his neck, but it wakes him up. I just with this car seat would recline better! Its not even like it reclines! I wanted to get my daughter this car seat in pink, but I will be getting her one that reclines back more. I read tons of reviews on this car seat and there wasn't one that I found with this problem, so I wanted to put it out there for other parents!

We chose this car seat over the Britax because it was $100.00 cheaper. When reading some of the comments, I learned that some parents were having difficulty strapping their kids in because the strap that goes over the groin lays underneath the child. I chose to ignore this and we bought two anyway (for both cars). I hate this car seat. I wish I spent the extra $100 for the Britax. I have to have my son lift his bum to pull out the strap every time we use it. I have used the term "stupid car seat" so much my son started calling it the "stupid car seat" and I have had to watch my language (I am not in the habit of using naughty language in front of him). I would advise to seat your child in it in the store and really practice belting him/her in it before you purchase. We did have him sit in it at the store, but didn't account for the fact that it is a lot more difficult to strap him in when the seat is actually in the car. As for the pros, my husband installed them without a problem and it does have a nice cup holder

This was so easy to figure out and put together, looks so safe and I got 25 percent trade in so it wasn't expensive. Im happy about my purchase.

I absolutely love this car seat. My daughter is 5yr old and about 40lbs. I travel an hour each way to work with her in the car I wanted a 5 point harness and she fits great in it. I have had it since they first came out and I'm glad I did.

Last night I was in a front and rear end collision. Black ice on the highway caused us to go into a spin. She didn't have any pain to her neck or back and no bruises from the seat belt. If they didn't have this car seat I don't know what would have happened if she was in just a high back booster.

Of ALL the car seats I have had I like this one the BEST! I like that my children can sit in the 5 point harness longer than most seats. My 4 yr old had almost out grown the 5 point harness in our other 3 in 1 convertable carseat. I like where the cupholders are located. Most car seats give you a cup holder attachment that has never been in a good spot for me to use. I like the storage holders my 1 yr old likes to put his passy in them. I also like where the red shoulderbelt guide is located for the highback booster. It seems to fit better than most boosters that have it located on the outer part of the car seat. The seat is a little heavy but I like that knowing it is made of steel and not all plasic. I will be telling my friends about this seat!

I read hundreds of reviews before buying these carseats for my twins. Many of the negative reviews talked about how difficult it was to install this seat in the car. I completely DISAGREE! It's SO EASY...well at least with the LATCH system. I just installed both of the seats in my vehicle using LATCH in less than 10 minutes. They are firmly in place and it was simple to do! Hopefully my boys like them as much as I do right now!

I purchased this car seat when my son was almost three and a half. He outgrew his other car seat because he is 40 pounds. I still wanted him in a five point harness though. This car seat is very expensive compared to others. However, the only other car seat I found that had the five point harness up to 60 pounds was Britax which was a lot more. I am very disappointed that at 3.5 my son who is 40 pounds is too big for the strap between the legs to fit comfortably. It is a struggle to pull the strap up comfortably even on the first slot. My son's legs are constantly being pinched when strapping him in. It takes a good 5-10 minutes for the strap to fit comfortably. ALSO, for the price of this car seat I expected quality. The fabric is ripping and tearing already - the car seat is less than a month old.

We purchased this seat a year ago after researching many of the boosters out there. I've been extremely pleased with this one--we're going to get one for my 2-year-old as soon as she grows out of her seat. The seat is safe and it keeps a child in a harness for much longer. I love the latch system. I also love the recline feature and the large headrest--when he falls asleep in the car he doesn't double over and practically fall out. I also love the convenient cup holder and the storage spaces for little toys. It's also passed the test for comfort on long trips. I definitely recommend this seat.
