Bought this for a birthday gift for our grandson, and this was a total disappointment! The battery would not stay in place, the propeller fell out of the boat, and without a battery or propeller the boat would not work. Very poorly made. We had a very sad grandson! I definitely would not recommend this for anyone.

Comments about Atlantis Toy and Hobby RMS Titanic Battery Powered Toy Boat:

My son was so excited to find a "Titanic" boat. We ordered it online from the store and when it arrived it had quite a strong plastic/petroleum odor. For the cost, it looked quite cheaply made. When it was taken into the bathtub for the first time, it only floated for a few minutes and then sank like the real thing. The cheap rubber seal that is around the ship had already slipped out of place and let in lots of water. After taking it out, it had to sit upside down over night just to get the water all out so he could play with it again.

My 6 year old grandson is obsessed with all things Titanic. I bought him this particular ship because I knew he would want something that looked realistic and be able to play with instead of just looking at a model. He loves it and plays with it daily.

Comments about Atlantis Toy and Hobby RMS Titanic Battery Powered Toy Boat:

We bought this product for my 6 year old son for Christmas online We've bought items online from toysrus and never had a problem but when this boat arrived we opened it and it Had a strong case plastic chemical smell. The smell was so strong that it was hurting my sons stomach. I tried washing it with soap but the smell didn't go away. My son kept complaining of stomach pains after having the boat a few days. My son kept complaining about a stomach ace and he had loose stools. I threw it away after a few days and my son felt much better. I would never recommend this product to anyone. It' shouldn't be sold to anyone and should be made using nontoxic paint or materials.

It's cool but cheaply made. Battery compartment comes open all the time. You have to touch the Rutter to turn it. But.... It works. It swims and despite the cheap plastic it is mostly watersealed and my son likes it.
