I ordered this product in pink and white along with another cotton green valance. I hung this product in my baby's room and it just looked really cheap, even from a distance. It was not made well and I could see some messy stitching even from a distance. It also did not have a second pole hole that could allow for the creation of a ruffle at the top - so that would have left a gap from the top of the window to the pole - unless I sewed in another hole myself.

I have added a pic of my baby's room with the valance that I did keep.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this for my daughter's room and was a little unsure due to few reviews on it. I have to say that I am very pleased with the way it looks! It is very feminine and gives her room that finishing touch. The fabric is not cheap feeling and after ironing, it looked fine. I have gotten many compliments on it already and I haven't even had the baby yet!

These are not as cute as they look online. They are made of cheap fabric and it is very noticeable when you put them up. In addition to the cheap material they are way too long which causes them to fall flat. I was very disappointed with they way they looked in my daughter's room.

I'm pregnant with boy/girl twins and found it very difficult to find curtains that would work with the color of the room, that looked neither too feminine nor too masculine. Although the description in this product notes that it's perfect for a girl's room, I think they work for my situation. They are really sweet looking, and my husband doesn't think that they're too feminine for a baby boy. My only complaint is that they are sewn unevenly (one valance has tulle that is noticeably longer on one side), but for the money, they are great.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
