This cute, soft bear is a favorite of my grandson. He hugs it gently when he is tired, but also bites on the ears, hands, hat and "hair" and has yet to rip it.

I was a little worried about the two strands of "hair" that peek out from the front of the hat, but no amount of pulling and biting has frayed or loosened the fabric. It was also washed in hot water and detergent and did not fade or fray.

There is a quiet rattle inside the bear that is nice for naptime or quiet time.

Our son got "Mr. Bear" as a gift when he was born and we started using it as his lovey around 6 months old. He's now over 3 and we're on our 2nd "Mr. Bear." He has slept with him every night since he was about 9 months old so I consider the fact that we're on our second "Mr. Bear" very reasonable - he's been through a lot including multiple vacations and road trips. (We've also washed him in the washing machine multiple times.) He rubs the satin sleeve to coax himself to sleep and uses him as his pillow. I think the little rattle inside is also very comforting without being the least bit obnoxious for parents. My son never used a pacifier, but "Mr. Bear" is the equivalent of a pacifer to him.

We love this bear. My now four year old was given this bear when she was 2 months old. She still sleeps with it every night, and she loves him. Despite a ton of more expensive stuffed animals, this is her favorite. Other animals have come and gone in her "crew", but this bear is her constant sleeping buddy. I never thought such a simple bear would have so much longevity, but this has been her favorite toy for four years.

I would recommend buying two, however, so you have an identical backup. They make minor changes to the clothes pretty often, and now they don't make an identical one to my kid's, so I fear what will happen if this bear gets lost.

Annabelle Got the as a Christmas gift from Great Grandma and who would have thought this soft and simple bear we be one of her favorite gifts. She loves to cuddle with him. It goes from her crib to play time with her. He's small enough for a 7 month old to hold and very soft. She also likes the two little pieces of ribbon for the hair.

My daughter absolutely LOVES "Blue Bear". She sleeps with him every night and is completely attached to him. She would walk around with him all day long if we let her, so instead we tuck Blue Bear back into bed in her crib after she wakes up, so she knows where he is. She will even try to sneak up to her room and reach for Blue Bear thru the side of the crib!

My 18 month old son sleeps with this bear every night. He's become really attached to it in the past 6 months or so. His favorite thing to do is lay in his crib and twirl the bear's curls. So cute! I love that I can throw it in the washer, too!

This is my 6 month old sons favorite bear. He got it from Grandma for Christmas. It is very snuggly and soft. The rattle inside catches his attention. Very durable and fun.

Our now 14 month old loves this bear. He is her best friend. She sleeps with him, carries him everywhere and calls Bay-bee Bay-ER whenever she sees him. No matter what she always knows where he is and checks on him regularly. When she sees new people she hands him to them so they can give him a hug. It's the best!

We got this as a Christmas gift, and my now 9 month-old absolutely loves this bear! He sleeps with it every night, and ever since he's gotten attached to it, he sleeps THROUGH the night, too! It's just the right size and very soft and cuddly. When he wakes up, he shakes it to hear the rattle and it keeps him occupied in his crib a little while before I go get him. The only potential problem I see is the little hair curly-cues possibly coming out after washing frequently depending on craftmanship. If they start to get loose, I'm just going to cut them off, but as of now they're still firmly attached.
