This is probably the easiest car seat to install ever. It took me less than 5 minutes from unpacking. At first I thought I missed something because it was so easy. I gave only 4 stars because the strap still gets tangle sometime and the little strap where the RED click is can be a bit longer. It's a bit difficult to click release sometimes. Besides those little annoyances, this is a great car seat.

This is a safe and sturdy car seat.
I would recommend using it in a bigger car vs. a compact car (the seat itself is large).

I really looked into many car seats prior to purchase and I am very happy with this one. I bought this Britax for us and bought a cheaper car seat for my mother who watches my daughter. I am not too happy with my "cheaper" purchase and would recommed every parent to dish out the extra money and get a Britax!

We just purchased and installed this car seat over the weekend for our 9 month old daughter. And honestly, it does not get any better than Britax. There is a reason people buy Britax...SAFETY!

PROS: Stylish print, safe, easy to install with the LATCH, roomy, comfortable, and could not get any better. I am pleased with our purchase. Yes, it was more expensive than others, but you can't put a price on your child's safety.

CONS: Heavy, but not any more than others we checked out.

We have only just purchased this for our soon-to-be one-year old. I always read a lot of reviews before making purchases for my little guy but usually don't take the time to write reviews myself. I made an exception this time. So far we love this seat (my little guy too)! We previously had the Chicco Keyfit 30 and loved it, but I can already tell that I am going to love this seat so much more. First of all, honestly it is extremely bulky and heavy compared to other convertible car seats but that just makes it so much safer in my eyes. I have a small car, a 2005 Acura TSX, and this seat fits fine. We have it installed in the middle. I will say that rear facing it is extremely difficult to pull the strap to tighten the shoulder straps because the seat sits right up on the back of the car, so we ended up installing it forward facing. Yeah, I am a little nervous about that as I have heard that new recommendations are for your child to stay rear facing for two years, but this seat seems so safe that I feel more comfortable than with any other brand. The seat sits up high and I can see my little guy from the rear-view mirror. He loves being able to see out of the car now. The side impact wings really don't disrupt his view, infact he likes to lean his head on them. The seat is really cushy and the material is soft. I will admit that you do have to pull pretty hard to hear the clicking sound to know if the straps are tight enough but once in my little guy is ready to go and I feel awesome knowing that he is comfortable and safe. I know that this car seat is expensive, but GET IT because if you settle for something else just to save money, you will regret it. Plus, you can get it for cheaper if you use one of the many coupons that they send in the mail.

I can't believe how much the price is reduced. I paid [$] 7 months ago, and I'd still pay the same price. I love this car seat - very easy to adjust and move from one car to another - and my son absolutely loves it. it's like having his own throne. :) Since I'm meeting up with my husband soon, he went ahead and took the car seat with him since we're flying there. So, I had to get a cheapo stand-in. I got the Evenflo, which works pretty well. but, there is such a HUGE difference in quality, and he doesn't sit up as high. The side wings that other parents might complain about actually help support his head when he naps. it also helps keep the sun out. they really help me feel better about a side impact crash. the fabric is lush, and it's perfect for either boy or girl. the seat has a LOT of cushion which is perfect for those long car rides. all in all, it's well worth the money. i know kids are expensive, but this is one area where i wouldn't scrimp.

no way is this seat going to be used until your child's 65lbs., let alone 40 lbs. my daughter was a preemie and shes 27 lbs. and i just bought this seat last night shes is about grown out of it. its going back today for a marathon. [$] is way over priced for an item that you can use for half the claimed weight limits, not to mention forget using it for a child over 3 1/2 ft. i wish babiesRus still sold the decathalon.

This is a great car-seat; it's a britax after all!! We bought this and used it twice only to realize that 1) our 8 month old baby was contorting his body to see out the window and see around the nice side impact wings in the head rest. I would seriously put your baby in it first, because if your baby is active and curious he/she may NOT be happy with his vision blocked. 2)The click and safe thing did NOT work, so it for [$] it is not worth it; a good parent should know when the harness is snug! So we returned this and went with the marathon, which we all love (baby included) and the marathon has the EPS FOAM IN THE BODY PART TOO, AND THE BOULEVARD HAS IT ONLY IN THE HEAD REST.

We were going to buy Britax but were having trouble deciding which model. We were between the Boulevard, Boulevard CS, and Advocate. We chose the Boulevard CS due to the fabric pattern. The Click-Safe feature isn't all that great, not sure if it's worth the extra $$. The Boulevard carseat would have been just fine. But as for the seat itself, our little man loves it! Much more spacious than the infant seat and he seems more comfortable. We had a professional install the seat, but he didn't seem to have any trouble. It is a very big carseat though- we have an SUV and it's large enough to touch the backs of the front seat due to it being rear-facing. But it will be just fine when it's front-facing.

We got this because it's the safest car seat out there. We're doing everything we can to keep the little one out of the hospital! But, diaper accidents happen. And, in order for this to be cleaned, you basically have to uninstall it from your car - the buckle has to be removed to remove the fabric cover, and to do that, you have to have access to the bottom of the seat. Then, after you uninstall the car seat, you have to take the entire thing apart and be extra careful not to snap the foam insert. Then, you have to hand wash and hang/lay flat to dry - you cannot machine wash or machine dry it. We had the Graco SungRide before this one and could just throw the cover in the washer. A diaper accident can ruin the next 4 hours of your day (removing the cover, washing it, drying with a hairdryer, and reinstalling the car seat). Very inconvenient.
