This is a great car-seat; it's a britax after all!! We bought this and used it twice only to realize that 1) our 8 month old baby was contorting his body to see out the window and see around the nice side impact wings in the head rest. I would seriously put your baby in it first, because if your baby is active and curious he/she may NOT be happy with his vision blocked. 2)The click and safe thing did NOT work, so it for [$] it is not worth it; a good parent should know when the harness is snug! So we returned this and went with the marathon, which we all love (baby included) and the marathon has the EPS FOAM IN THE BODY PART TOO, AND THE BOULEVARD HAS IT ONLY IN THE HEAD REST.

We were going to buy Britax but were having trouble deciding which model. We were between the Boulevard, Boulevard CS, and Advocate. We chose the Boulevard CS due to the fabric pattern. The Click-Safe feature isn't all that great, not sure if it's worth the extra $$. The Boulevard carseat would have been just fine. But as for the seat itself, our little man loves it! Much more spacious than the infant seat and he seems more comfortable. We had a professional install the seat, but he didn't seem to have any trouble. It is a very big carseat though- we have an SUV and it's large enough to touch the backs of the front seat due to it being rear-facing. But it will be just fine when it's front-facing.

We got this because it's the safest car seat out there. We're doing everything we can to keep the little one out of the hospital! But, diaper accidents happen. And, in order for this to be cleaned, you basically have to uninstall it from your car - the buckle has to be removed to remove the fabric cover, and to do that, you have to have access to the bottom of the seat. Then, after you uninstall the car seat, you have to take the entire thing apart and be extra careful not to snap the foam insert. Then, you have to hand wash and hang/lay flat to dry - you cannot machine wash or machine dry it. We had the Graco SungRide before this one and could just throw the cover in the washer. A diaper accident can ruin the next 4 hours of your day (removing the cover, washing it, drying with a hairdryer, and reinstalling the car seat). Very inconvenient.

This is a fantastic car seat. I was rear-ended with my 7 month old in the vehicle and he didn't have a scratch on him. The vehicle was totaled (front end and rear damage). The police and fire dept said the seat didn't budge at all. Expensive, but well worth the money if you ever need it. I bought another one to replace the one that was in the accident. Best investment in the safety of baby.

After a lot of research and Read a people review in different department sites, I got this carseat for my daughter who was getting ready to outgrow her snug ride. This carseat is the best of the best!! Besides the 5 star safety rating and carseat allows your child to stay Rear Facing up to 35 pounds! Also, the limit for forward facing is 65 pounds! This carseat will last a long time!! It also starts at 5 pounds so this carseat is good for a newborn, too! Plus with its "true side impact protection" you can feel good about knowing your child is safe. The seat is very comfortable and soft. My daughter loves it and falls asleep in it all the time! Her head doesn't fall forward like in the snug ride either. The click and safe feature is really good at letting you know how secure the straps should be. The installation was really easy.I have not had any trouble with the straps twisting and it's really nice that they cross the upper thigh rather than the lower belly; another great safety feature! You never have to worry about taking the carseat out or fooling around with moving the straps up as your child grows. All you have to do is turn a knob and the straps as well as the side impact pillow move as your child gets taller. The infant pillow behind the back works great until the child is large enough not to need it and also provides extra cushion. it worth every penny knowing your child is as safe as possible.

This car seat is great! Love the harness and the all of the padding. I love the knob that allows you to adjust the height of the shoulder straps and side imapact pads. So much easier than taking the liner off, disconnecting the straps, putting them in the next higher holes, connecting the straps, putting the liner back on. Plus, this is a great color.
The only slight down-fall is that the button to let slack out of the harness straps is a bit hard to get at/find.

When our daughter outgrew her infant car set we purchased this one and we've had this car seat for almost a year and we absolutely love it! Our daughter appears to be very comfortable in it and it looks great, it actually matches the interior of our cars. It is a little pricey, but knowing that your little one will be safe in this seat is well worth the investment! I have all but one complaint about this car seat, the audible click feature was an added plus when we made this purchase, however shortly after we started to use the seat we noticed that the audible click feature was NOT audible anymore. I've even tried pulling the harness all the way without my daughter in it and I still am not able to hear the clicking, but it should be obvious when the restraint is tight enough when your child is in the seat. Other than that, Britax car seats are a great investment.

This seat is great! I bought it initially because of the fantastic ratings. In the past two years, I have grown to love every part of it. The best feature is how high my son sits. Even in our little VW Golf, he had great visibility and never got car sick or wanted out of his seat. This seat sits 2-4'' higher than most of the others - and it makes a big difference. I read that some people can't see around the seat - I have no problem at 5'4'' in a mini van.

I bought this seat because at the time it seemed like the safest seat out there. I do like this seat...it seems comfortable for my son, secure, and safe. It adjusts easily and it doesn't budge with the tether in place. We just switched it from rear-facing to forward-facing. A few things that I didn't really like was that in rear-facing, it's hard to pull the harness strap and it sometimes clicked when it was way too loose and didn't click when it was clearly tight on him. Now that it is forward-facing, it is much easier to pull the strap but it still doesn't always click when it is tight. For this reason, I wouldn't bother buying the CS. I would just get the regular Boulevard and save $20. I am only 5'1" and it sits very high in our SUV (Volvo xc90) so it is a stretch to put my son in. It would be much easier for a taller mom. I also like that it has the velcro patches that hold the straps out of the way so I don't have to pull the straps out from behind him every time I put him in. It just needs velcro on the crotch strap so this would also stay out of the way. I was concerned that it would be hot in the summer (we have the Berkshire Tan, tan and black)because when you remove the infant cushion the fabric on the back is black. But the velvet fabric doesn't get that hot. I am also glad that we can use this seat until our son is 65 pounds.
