This stroller is GREAT! Aesthetically, it's gorgeous -- the blue/green fabric is totally hip as is the overall design. But let's face it, a pretty stroller alone isn't what any parent is seeking.

The main reason I wanted this stroller was for a handle that could reverse for baby to face forward or be rear-facing (to continue interaction with momma). After using a snap-and-go stroller with my baby as an infant, it felt completely strange not to be able to see him anymore during walks, so I knew I needed a stroller with the flexible option of a forward or rear facing seat. Surprisingly, not many strollers do this. A few strollers I found required that the entire seat be reversed -- not the case with the Bumbleride. Simply pull up on the notches along the handle, and the handle easily flips. I should note that I started using this stroller with an 8-month-old, so I can't speak from direct experience with a newborn in it. I love that I can still talk and sing with my baby as we enjoy our walks, or give him time to view the world on his own.

The seat reclines in several positions, like all strollers these days, so that's always helpful when my little guy falls asleep. The canopy is a great size, too, which keeps sun out of his face with ease. There's also a zip pocket on the canopy for your keys or cell phone. The basket below provides basic storage with plenty of space. I love the ease of locking the wheels for steering in the front and the back, though you do need to adjust them each time you reverse the handle. (Not a big deal for me!) This stroller has lots of places where parts can be adjusted (height of handle bar, foot rest, and handle position itself) which adds a lot of comfort for me, daddy, and baby.

My only (minor) negatives are that the spongy material around the handle doesn't seem like it will hold up over the long run, it may peel or tear (I wish it was made of a rubbery material instead). It came with a wimpy cup holder that I wouldn't trust to actually hold my coffee without spilling it all over the gorgeous stroller! Truthfully, since the handle is reversible, it would be difficult to design a cup holder that worked when positioned in either direction. It steers like a dream and feels very solid and sturdy, despite its relative light weight compared to other full-size strollers.

The stroller is very easy to fold up and is super lightweight -- big pluses. But there's not a good handle to grab it once folded to pack it in the car. If you've got two hands to carry it, it's no problem, but that's not always convenient with a little one on your hip.

Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased this stroller five months ago after hours of research online and in-store. I wanted a stylish, sturdy stroller with a reversible handle and finally chose the Flyer in spite of it not being available to try out in stores. Now I know why it's only sold online. It is a beautiful stroller. None other compares with the bright, stylish colors. It is also lightweight. Those are the only positive comments I can make. I use it mostly for shopping in malls and places like [@], but have needed it outdoors a few times. It is impossibly difficult to push and steer, requiring two hands and lots of manhandling just to make it move forward at any given time. Forget pushing it across low-pile carpet, much less grass, sand, gravel, or any other commonly-encountered surface. It will not go. When pushing down on the handle to go up a curb or doorstep, the flimsy engineering is especially obvious. The fabric is hot and slippery. My 8-month-old slides to the sides when riding in it, despite being strapped in, and then his head hits the hard plastic handles used to fold the stroller. The straps are scratchy and the pads do not stay in place (again, slick fabric). The basket is very narrow and shallow, not allowing for much storage. I am highly disappointed with this stroller and wish I had returned it. It Is not at all worth the price.

I just got the Bumbleride Flyer stroller for my daughter and I have to say it's just gorgeous! The construction is solid and all the components seem really well made. The color is really nice and gender neutral without being boring. The reversible handle is what sold me on this stroller over other brands. All of the features are extremely easy to use. I have been researching strollers for a long time and have been eyeing this one for quite sometime. I got an amazing deal since they are discontinuing this model. This stroller is a steal at this sale price!

Comments about Bumbleride 1008797 Bumbleride 2011 Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

I love this stroller. I am a first time Mom and was looking for a stroller with a reversible handle where my son would be able to face me as we went for walks. I did a ton of research on this type of stroller and most that offered the reversible handle feature were the high-end, super expensive strollers. I registered for the bumbleride stroller because the price was reasonable and it has the features I was looking for. I love that the seat reclines all the way down. My son took many a nap that way when he was an infant. Now that he is 15 months and a big boy, he still loves it and rides in it whenever we go out to Disneyland, the mall or park. Contrary to what others have said, I think it is super easy to steer. We have taken it on sand, grass, malls, carpet, every type of surface and it has handled well. No problems here. The only con is the small storage basket, but then again, I was looking for a light weight, full sized stroller. If the basket was any bigger, it would not qualify as light-weight. Anyway, I love mine and it also looks sleek and stylish!

Comments about Bumbleride 1008797 Bumbleride 2011 Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

As soon as I opened the box, I was thrilled! The colors are even more rich than they appear online. The body is sturdy, light, and sleek. It was very easy to assemble and the moveable handle is such a great feature. You can push this stroller with one finger. Our Britax Chaperone fits nicely, and with ease into the stroller (though we used the strap that came with the car seat as it appeared to be higher quality). We have yet to put baby in it (due in a couple months) but my husband and our two dogs have been walking with it for weeks now ( to get the dogs used to the stroller, not 'cause we are crazy!) and it has preformed perfectly. When I was a nanny my biggest issue was wheels in the sand. The Flyer has no problem negotiating sandy patches on our roads (happens a lot on the Cape) and can even push through deeper sand albeit with a bit of effort. The full recline, the quality fabric, and the ultra sturdy construction tell me that this stroller will be with us through more than just our first child!

I am so happy with this stroller! I love that the baby can face you or away from you. And I love that the handle adjusts for height. The fabric is so pretty and the canopy has great coverage! The instructions to set up were ok. When it came to snaping the fabric in place it took us a little while but we figured it out. I love this stroller overall and I wish I hade bought this for my other 2 kiddos! It works for a newborn to 4 year old!!! I love it!!!

Comments about Bumbleride 1008797 Bumbleride 2011 Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

After researching what seemed like 100's of strollers this one was the winner based on all the festures that it offered at an affordable price.

        Pros
        - all the desired features at a great price!
        - handle that changes from from to back so the baby can face you or the world...
        - seat that reclines all the way back to a flat position - perfect for infants!
        - The seat also comes with cover that cam make it into completely enclosed basinnet (I believe the cover is an extra item that you have to purchase separately - we got ours with the stroller on sale). Great for winter to keep sleeping baby cozy.
        - all 4 wheels swivel and can be locked for best manuverability when handle bar is switched to face the opposite direction

        Cons
        - the buttons on the handle to change it front to back are a bit stiff
        - I bought the 2008 model on sale and the wheels on that were skidding on the floor. Because of this issue, the sales person gave us the wheels from the newer 2009 model (which were a pain in the butt to replace since the part that holds the wheels was redesigned just a tiny bit - it tok some engineering and handywork on our party to change the wheels, to say teh least!). After we finally replaced the wheels, the stroller had no issues with skidding.
        - We got the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat to go with the stroller. The carseat is great and fits easily into the stroller using the car seat attachment bar, but a bit of a pain/not very user friendly.... the car seat attachment that comes with the stroller is a bare bones metal bar and a strap that you would use to secure the car seat into place. We still haven't found a place on the stroller around which the strap would be secured - there is just no latches for this strap. But the carseat seems to sit in place leaning against the car seat bar. The strap is just an added security measure for bumpy rides.

I LOVE THIS STROLLER. I love the way it rolls, the way it leans all the way back and goes up, the colors, lightweight, sturdy... My son is only 2 1/2 months old now but he has loved it since I started taking him around when he was only a week and a half old. It's super. It is a stroller you need to know how to use..but you can figure it out yourself in 10 minutes and if someone tells you 30 seconds...Depending which you're pushing it, you have to change the side the wheels are locked in place (not locked not to move)...you don't need to line up the wheels to lock them..it does it as soon as you start pushing it.... i have the the peg perego car seat and it works perfectly with it!!!

Comments about Bumbleride 1008797 Bumbleride 2011 Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

I was a little skeptical about this stroller because i wasn't able to play around with it before i got it...but i absolutely love it and i'm sure once my baby is born she will love it too. Its so smooth to push around, and the option to lock the direction of the wheels and unlock, is awesome. i know it will come in handy when i need to move the stroller to the side without having to pick up and shuffle the stoller to the side, like with most strollers that could possibly wake a baby up. Only negative thing was that i was sent the wrong color stroller, but i decided to keep it anyway because i fell in love with it and i didnt want to give it up.
