The V-Smile V-Motion Active Learning System by Vtech is a brilliant breakthrough gaming console that combines wireless motion-activated play, web connectivity, and educational gaming into a system that plugs directly into your TV. Your children will love the wireless action-packed play that guides them through age-appropriate skill levels and developmental activities. Just swap cartridges (sold separately) to change the games and lessons. The V-Motion wireless controller takes the child's input, and also uses gyroscopic motion detectors to control the action. A wrist strap helps prevent accidents. The V-Link lets kids save game scores from supporting V-Smile products, then upload those scores to the Web with a personal computer. My 3 year old actually loves this system it would get 5 stars if only it would work!!! I am on my third system and it just stopped working I had to keep replacing the batteries daily for it to even work at a couple hours at a time!!!!

My 3 year old got this for his birthday and i think it is amazing. He loves playing games so this was perfect for him. It doesn't come with the adapter but i bought one for like [$]. I also love love the fact that it is VERY educational.

IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. IF MY PRODUCT WITH GAMES ARE NOT REFUNDED IM GOING TO REPORT IT. MY SON GOT HIS VMOTION ON 09/29/09 FOR HIS BIRTHDAY HE HAD IT ONLY FOR 3WEEKS THEN DID NOT WORK. I HAVE CHANGED THE BATTERIES CHECKED CORDS AND EVEN TRIED IT ON A DIFFERENT TELEVISION. SO I WENT BACK TO TOYS R US THEY REPLACED IT ON 10/29/09 NOW 5 DAYS LATER ITS DOING THE SAME THING AND ONCE AGAIN ITS NOT WORKING. I AM NOT GOING TO GET A NEW ONE AND I WANT EVERY MOTHER TO KNOW DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

ok i love everything about this product except for the fact that it uses batteries instead of having an adapter...I love the games and what they teach..We bought this for our son last yr for his 3rd birthday and he loved it..He's 4 now and still loves it if he can actually play it w/o us having to go buy batteries everytime he's ready to pick it up.

I bought this for Christmas less than a year ago and it has already stopped working!! Add to that the fact that it does not work with the new flat panel wall mounted TV's and its almost useless. The few times my sone played with it he loved it but now its a paperweight and I cannot find anything that refers to a warranty on the VTech site. Contrary to other reviews you can buy a power supply that plugs into the wall so you dont go broke on batteries.

I bought this for my 2 year old. She LOVES it! She doesn't understand all the games yet, but the ones she does, she loves!!! I love how it keeps them moving instead of just sitting like a bump on a log.

Despite some of the reviews I gave this to my 4 1/2 year old son- it is GREAT! We have not had any problems with the system or games- there are some games that I prefer over others but that is with any system. I think it is perfect for preschoolers and up.

I have a 2 and a half year old and he absolutely loves this games system. He thinks he is the coolest thing.. his uncles have the xbox so now he thinks he's in competition. The only thing is that it comes with only batteries so you will have to get a ac-dc cord for it.
