This is a great idea, but poor execution. We got this as a birthday present for our son's 5th birthday, his 'big' present. I was so embarassed and disappointed, the photos were very poor quality. Broad daylight, lights on in the house, and I was still getting dark photos. This was sad. My son didn't want us to return it, but the pictures were so bad I couldn't let him keep it. The 'mouse' is another story, not worth discussing. The picture quality is so bad it i not worth the [$]. I thought it was the size of my TV, but even on a small 19 inch TV the quality was still awful. Not having a flash kills this product.

We have no trouble with the camera performance at all. Pictures are clear and bright. Maybe they have fixed it since the last ratings were written. My 6 yr old had to take it away from me because it was such a blast to take pictures of each other and add silly stamps to them. Best toy I've bought in the last couple years!

Great for development of hand-eye coordination with lots of shape and drawing activities. My 4 years old granddaughter wanted a graphics pad like mine and, after some research, the KidiArt Studio stood out. Like my Intuos pad. it allows both drawing and photo manipulation on the computer to be more intuitive. The ability to connect to a tv frees up a computer and provides a bigger workspace than most monitors. The table and stool are just about right for small children, but I think that the drawing pad will be used without the table provided in a year or so. Encourages lots of interaction with an adult, yet, after an introduction to how it works and activities, experimentation is self-directed. Good for teaching taking turns. This is the best price on an innovative product that seems to be built to last.

Once we figured out how to work this, we were impressed, keeps my 5 year old daughter busy for hours. The camera worked fine, pictures were bright.

I gave this one star, but I never got to see it work. It was defective right out of the box. We could hear the music, but the video did not work. We tried it on every TV in the house with the same results. My daughter was very disappointed. We are heading to the store to take this back very soon! We will not be getting another one.

My 5 year old loves it. Picture isn't the greatest, but it does the job that she wants it to. She got this and didn't want to stop playing with it. She had a blast taking pictures and drawing on their faces. I don't know what the age group really is but I say it is good for 5-8. After that they want top of the line products anyway. We had no issue with selecting objects, I just had to teach her how to go about doing it and then she was fine. I would recommend this for a gift for a kid that has everything. Is a little pricy, but isn't everything now a days.

I thought this sounded great and the idea is a great one. Like the other reviewer, the picture is so dark that you can't do anything with it. Maybe a flash on the camera would have helped but try explaining that to a 5 year old. Also the "desk top" should have had some instruction on it, rather than having to guess as to where the pen will land. Pretty disappointing overall.

I really wanted to get this for my daughter for Christmas. And when she open it she was very excited. Needless to say after playing with it for 10 minutes she told me she didn't like it any longer. like the review above. this project is a great idea but the camera DOESN'T WORK LIKE THEY SHOW,IMAGE IS SO DARK. the table is so sensitive you don't have to push anything and option for saving and ending activity just start popping up. i am SO VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PRODUCT AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE FOR THE PRICE THEY ASK.maybe if it was for 25.00 dollars then it would be worth it. but not for the asking price

This product was a gift for my daughter's birthday. The camera hardly works. The picture is so dark you can barely tell there is an image. The idea behind it is great, but it is junk without a decent image. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
