My husband and I got this for my daughter as a Christmas present when she was 9 months old and at first she didn't show much of an interest in it at all. She's started showing a little more interest in it at 11 months old but still not much and it doesn't hold her attention for very long. It only has one little light (the music note) that just flashes the same color. I wouldn't say its very educational. She likes to move the joy stick to make the monkey dance. That's about it! I also don't find the songs very fun. It's not a complete waste of money but there's definitely better toys out there. It probably just depends on your baby's personality.

i was browsing for a new toy for my little girl when she saw this she wanted it because of the monkey. as soon as we got home she played with it. i liked it because the monkeys head and arms move, the parrot sings too and has different music along with other kinds of animals. i would totally recommend this toy.

My son has had this toy since about 6 months and is now 14 months. He really never showed any interest at all with it. He liked to see the monkey move but never cared to do it on his own.

I bought this for my 8-mo old Granddaughter. I was hoping to find someting to keep her still for a few minutes...not easy. It worked. She loved it instantly. She loved the monkey and how he moves. She turned it around and even tried getting him out from the back. I hope he holds up to the tugging and I don't find his head on the floor some day. I recommend this toy.

My 6 month old son LOVES this toy! He likes to move the joystick around, and push the buttons. The bird seems a little hard to push, but son has no problem pushing it! He also likes to move the monkey by hand. The only feature I wish it had is low or high volume. It only has one volume.

This is one of my 10 month old sons favorite toys, but it is my least favorite. There is no volume control and the toy will start singing when no one is playing with it. The songs are always stuck in my head. Other than that, he really enjoys it.
