Bought this kitchen at [...] after Christmas clearance for [$] and my grandson loves it...he really loves the sounds it makes and he plays with real cell phones, but loved this little phone. He has the Fisher Price Tea Set that makes pouring sounds. He has a great imagination so this is perfect for him. After only a few minutes after playing with it for the first time he had dinner cooked! And my favorite part is it fits right beside my frig in the kitchen so it's not in my way! Compact but not too small.....great product....would buy it again!

We bought this kitchen for my son who will be 3 years old in December. He has always loved playing with his pretend food, and we recently sold his Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn kitchen at a [...] sale. We figured he was getting too old for it and wanted to buy him a more realistic kitchen. I read reviews and did my homework before settling on the Step2 Lifestyle Custom Kitchen. My son loves it! I am very impressed with the quality of the kitchen and the sound effects are very accurate! I put it together myself in about an hour with a screwdriver. It was recommended to use an electric one, by it wasn't necessary. This is my first experience with Step2, and I would certainly buy this brand again. We bought this for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. For the most part it was very easy to put together. The instructions were a little confusing about how to attach the microwave and oven number pads but we figured it out. My daughter loves it. She spends all day using it. "I cookin' dinner" she says. It was definitly worth the money.

son loves this! his imagination goes wild.. he's always cooking things for us.. and pretending to get water from the sink, etc.. good design, works well.. the only problem we had was there was something wrong with the phone.. the battery had to be sitting up to make it work.. then when you put the back on, it didnt work. the connection ports that hit the battery was messed up, so when you put the back on it pushed the battery down in its correct spot, but didnt work. oh well, other than that everything works fine. price was good for all you get.

I bought this for my nephew's 2nd birthday, and it was an immediate hit. He loves the different sounds of the pots and pans, and likes all of the moving parts (drawers, etc.) The colors are nice - and it fits nicely in my brother's dining room (it's not hot pink or bright red, which would clas with the decor), so my nephew can "cook" while his parents are in the kitchen. Great find!

We purchased this kitchen for our 2 year old daughter and she loves it! She never seems to get bored of cooking. The kitchen has many different compartments for play food and other accessories, and the decals make it look pretty real. The stove also makes very realistic cooking sounds (boiling and frying)which our daughter LOVES! We also like that it is compact in size to fit in our daughter's room without feeling cramped. All in all, we are very happy with this purchase and so is our daughter!

There is nothing bad to say about it. The size if perfectly compact, yet it has everything. The sound effects and accompanying lights are very realistic. It comes with a pan and pot that sizzle and make boiling water noises and light up when you put them on the burner. The microwave and oven both have keypads that make realistic noises when the buttons are pushed. Very fun--my girls play with it all the time.
