I liked the Snack and Play Travel Tray and it was helpful during a long road trip to Texas/Louisiana. The only thing I would change is to make it to be more "sturdy", but I realize that it has to pass "crash test" guidelines and would need to be able to collapse on impact. With that in mind - I really liked the product and it served our purpose.

We travel long distances in the car frequently with my 5 and 3 year old. Often I am frustrated by the lack of a tray so they can color, read books, and eat food without spilling it or juggling it on their laps. This tray worked better than I expected. It is made of soft material (To be safe if there is an accident in the car) but still sturdy enough to keep it's form while my kids colored, played cars & trains and ate. The mesh pockets on the side were great for storing items. A couple of suggestions, if your child wants to write or color on paper not already in a coloring book, bring a clip board for them to use on the tray. My three year old did struggle with food that easily rolled. (grapes for example) They can easily roll off the tray into the childs lap. However a lip around of the rest of the tray kept things in place. My five year old could unhook the tray on his own and remove it. The three year old was not able to do this but prefered to keep the tray on all the time. One more thing, they dropped less toys onto the car floor because of the tray.

Bottom line, definitely worth it and helped facilitate more ways to entertain the kids while driving.

It is probably a good product but I wouldn't know becasue it took so long to get to us. It arrived the day before we got back from our trip to Florida. It took us 24hrs to drive there and 24 hours of driving back and it would have been nice to have. It took over two weeks to get to us and they told me one week. We are sending it back.

This serves a basic purpose and we use it a great deal. However, don't purchase it assuming it is a sturdy tray (as it appears in the picture).

this worked very well for snacks on a long road trip. Easy to attach, functional and served the purpose. Contained mess and my two-year old enjoying eating on this tray!

The idea is good and my kids liked it while it was on. However when they were done with it, it is impossible to get it off them if you're in the front seat. The table buckles around them, and you have to undo two buckles to get it off. My kids are little (3 & 1), so maybe older kids could unbuckle it themselves.

I used this product on a 4 hour road trip. My son was able to play with his toy cars and eat his cheerios. It was a life saver.

The material is thick, so using a coloring book or paper with markers would work just fine. The side pouches are a great addition to putting small toys/crayons in reach. The boarder will protect snacks from rolling off as well. Not to mention it is safe.
