My DD loves her "big girl" bed and couldn't wait to sleep in it the very first night. It's not too high off the ground and is pretty sturdy. She can get in and out by herself without any trouble. The color was a true white, just what I expected, not off-white, and matches perfectly with her room decor. This is a very simple design - no frills - it's good for the price.

The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the assembly instructions were not well done, particularly as it relates to all the different screws required. There were so many screws, some with only slight differences in shape and or size. Normally this would not be a problem except that they were not labeled. Only images were used to tell you which you needed and because so many of them looked similar, it was difficult at times to figure out which was which without any labeling at the start. We ended up having to unassemble and reassemble certain parts because we used the wrong screws initially. Assembly of this bed was extremely tedious for us.

Outside of the instructions, it's a great bed and now that it's put together (after 5 long hours), we love it and our daughter loves it. I would still recommend this bed to anyone who is looking for a low cost, but practical and simple bed frame.

One other comment: We don't have a need for a bed rail so I do not know how the bed would work with one or two of those attached.

I love this bed although I wish the drawers were contoured as nicely as the dresser drawers, these are just plain rectangle fronts, otherwise very nice bed. I just purchased the bed so that later I can add the headboard, it's a perfect fit for my 3 year old, very sturdy, and good quality product!
