I love this item! It's an easy way to create memories for a lifetime. I purchase this for my husband and I as well as my parents and we've received nothing but compliments. We are using it to capture our daughters "first 12 months" and gave it as a gift to my parents that captured her "first smiles". My daughter is now 4 months old and it is a joy to see how she is changing every month. I will be purchasing this for a friend for her baby shower.

Rec'd as a gift. I love the idea of capturing my daughter's changes. However, my sheet of cute little sayings had typos on it. The "first smiles" was "firstsmiles" on all 3 colors so I can't use that one. Also, the frame packaging says "my first 12 months" but on the inside the pieces say "my first 12 years". I'd like to capture her first 12 MONTHS in the frame, not 12 YEARS!

I purchased this one day on sale @ Babies R Us I was in the store browsing around for little odds & ends items while pregnant & bored one day, It is a very nice quality frame, the black border with the white matte is really sharp looking & I think filled in with the pictures month by month it is going to look so sharp & nice on the wall in the living room or in one of the hallways or even in our master bedroom! I think that the price is great for a lifetime keepsake like this and I do not think anyone would be dissapointed to have this frame and that it would make a really nice extra shower gift for a friend or loved one I would def recommend

To no avail, I've searched the internet extensively for a free template for the 12 month openings (1.25 x 1.75ins). The manufacturer should consider offering a free template. It would make all the difference if they did.

The trick to using these frames is to put your pictures on a website like Kodak Gallery or Shutterfly and then order wallet size prints. The announcement looks cute in the large opening. The frame is not top of the line by any means but it still is very cute.

Okay, I figured it out! You need to print wallet size pictures. I did black and white. You'll still have to trim just a little, but the wallet size worked. I really like how it looks now that I'm done, but it did take time to put together.
