when we saw this online we loved it. we wanted a round crib and finally found one we could afford. Used this crib from 10 weeks and still using as a toddler bed for our 33 month old toddler. I love the way it looks (its simple, elegant design is also very cozy). The only cons are the assembly: need 2 people and a bit difficult to use screws when holes aren't perfectly aligned. One of our wheels kept falling off but seems to be fixed now. The only other drawback is that for short people (under 5'4") it would be difficult to lower a baby down without waking it up because the rails are high (don't lower) and it might hurt your back.
You only need to purchase extra parts for the bassinet and the largest size bed (not toddler size). Many nice bedding patterns to choose from online at various websites. Nice foam mattress. Recommend getting the waterproof mattress cover and a few sheets.

The perfect crib! It's beautiful, practical, convenient & exceeds all expectations! Great if you're limited in space, as it's one of the most compact bedding systems out there, yet offers more than adequate room for baby. The bassinet works wonderfully for the first several months & makes it very useful when you want your newborn near you, since it's easily maneuverable & compact. The fact that it transforms from bassinet into crib, to toddler bed, to junior bed, then into chairs, makes this extremely unique & desirable... there's no other system like it! The canopy is most elegant & also protects baby from drafts. It's very safe & durable, as well, & it's unique oval shape allows you to place it anywhere in the room. Furthermore, it has several gorgeous bedding sets offered by many designers, so you're not limited because of it's rare shape. Like I said, it's wonderful in every way! Highly recommended & worth every penny!!!

We love this crib. The bassinet was perfect when our daughter slept in our room for the first few months. It was great to be able to roll it from room to room when I needed to do something. We love that the bassinet BECOMES the crib so we didn't have a bassinet taking up space in our closet. I like that we can eventually remove one side when she's ready for a "big girl bed" and then buy the junior bed kit to make it a full size bed.

It doesn't have a drop-side like some standard cribs, but this actually makes the crib feel more safe. It also makes it much easier to assemble. The mattress height is adjustable so you can have it higher for infants and lower for toddlers.

We were initially concerned about the round/oval shape and lack of bedding choices, but there are actually lots of bedding options out there for the bassinet and crib if you look hard enough. Stokke makes some nice simple sheets (white, orange, blue) and Gustav Maxwell and Dwell do some fun prints. The round/oval shape also gives it a cozy feel for the baby which is nice.

We're expecting #2 and will definitely be buying another Stokke crib.

Bedding is easy to find online and in stores. You are limited in patterns as it is a unique shape but there are nice sets out there.

Very useful for urban dwellers who may need to roll the crib from room to room. Super easy to assemble and convert from bassinet to crib. We liked it so much for our daughter we're buying another for #2. I also feel it doesn't take up as much room as the regular large cribs that are out there.
