Product Description
The Tiny Love Follow-Me Fred Toy is an adorable puppy with intriguing sounds and motions that are sure to delight your baby. Activated by your baby's touch, this self-rolling puppy will encourage crawling, and fun buttons and sounds will enhance your baby's cognitive development. Parents can even set Fred's rolling speed to customize it throughout their baby's crawling stages.

Follow Me Fred pleases the visual and tactile senses with his bright colors and his soft head and tail. He features three cheerful tunes that are activated when your child touches his colorful buttons. A mute button turns off the sound, should parents prefer more peace and quiet. At the top of each leg, Fred has a fun button or shape. For example, on one leg he has a beaded mirror and on another, a hologram image. Your baby will have fun pressing these buttons.

Follow Me Fred uses movement to help encourage your baby to crawl. By touching the puppy, your baby activates him to move, helping pique your baby's interest and delight the senses. Your baby will be drawn to keep up with or pet Follow Me Fred as Fred moves along. Fred will bark encouragingly as a reminder for your baby to keep crawling after him.

Follow Me Fred can be set to move in a circular motion or in a straight line by manipulating the puppy's unique accordion-shaped body. Parents can set the puppy to walk at different speeds by pressing the paw button on Fred's front leg. This allows parents to customize Fred for your child's different crawling stages, slow at first and then faster when your baby is more able.

My 5 month old son loves this puppy. He isn't crawling yet, but he loves to watch it move. I like how you can bend the middle section of the puppy so that it will go around in circles (or straighten the middle section to make it go in a straight line). The puppy barks, whines, and pants...my son loves the noises and giggles at them every time. Once he is able to sit on his own, he'll be able to start the puppy by "tapping" it on the back...overall, really cute toy and very entertaining.

I thought this would be a cute idea for my 5 month old as she learned to crawl. The thing is impossible to get going! An adult has to whack it or drop it several times to make it move and when it does work it seems like dumb luck. It's nearly impossible for my baby, now 12 months, to make it do anything other than bark. On the plus side, it's still barking and singing songs after having been whacked on the floor a million times.

My son received Follow-Me Fred for Christmas. He was a bit too young for it so we kept it aside until about a month ago. He loved it - Fred would move and my son would crawl right after him. Fred kept my 8 month old entertained for a solid 10 to 15 minutes at a time - a small miracle!

Unfortunately, after a month of use, Fred quit working. After a couple of emails with Tiny Love and providing proof of purchsae - Tiny Love is replacing Fred at no charge! Thank you Tiny Love!

In short, great toy - very entertaining. Keep your receipt in case it breaks. You have 6 months from the date of purchase to order a replacement.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

After a couple months, the batteries died. The cheap batteries inside it had corroded and now it's ruined. This toy wasn't all that great anyway:-( The kids liked it OK but it was never one of their favorites.

This is a great toy! We got this toy for our son for his first Christmas. He loves the toy plays with it everyday. He is 9months old so the rolling part doesn't interest him to much. He will sit there with the dog feeling the ears an tail. He bends the body by himself an loves that he can. He does throw the dog around an it still works perfectly fine. The dog is very colorful an stands out. When ever we turn the toy on he hears the bark an comes crawling right over to play with it. I love the bark it doesn't get annoying at all. We have dogs an when the toy barks they sometimes think its another dog outside the house. We have carpet in our sons room an the toy rolls just fine. I would definitely recommend this toy especially for younger babies that are starting to crawl.

I love this toy from what I have seen on the website's. I haven't been able to encounter it personally yet. i just brought it a week ago for my 6month old christmas gift. I saw this toy on [@] for [$] and it was sold out. I came to toys r us website but I rufused to purchase because it's over priced for me. How ever I did find it on [@] for [$]

The doggie is adorable and grabs my son's attention. He grabs for it and scoots towards the dog. It still rolls even on rugs and carpet as well as wood floors.
