this chair is larger than the other soft-sided chairs we considered ([...]anywhere chair) plus it folds out for lounging. i bought one for my 4 and a half year old, but my 18 month old loves it, too. i am considering buying another. it looks a little floppy/flimsy, but considering how much they love it and how much they use it, i'd definitely buy it again. it's light and easy to move around.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We got this chair so our son could have a place to sit that was his size. He loves this chair. It is the first place he runs to when we get home, and he likes to sit there with his books and his Elmo.
Unfortunately, the quality of the chair leaves something to be desired. While the microfiber is easy to clean, the fabric is too delicate when placed over the foam with no frame. There are already small holes, in addition to a large tear by the bottom (5-7 inches) and the handle has started to tear away. Cute chair, but cannot handle being crawled on by a toddler. Probably better for an older child.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
