My son received this as a Christmas gift. He was VERY excited. After working slowly & carefully with the help of dad, he was very disappointed to discover that there were no geodes at all. Just a pile of powder. I will NEVER purchase another product like this or anything that says EDU SCIENCE. I will also be sure to tell others not to waste their money!!

My son received this as a Birthday present and we thought it would be great because he has done many rock digging kits and loved them. Unfortuntely, after digging through the entire block, which was pretty big, he found half a Geode!! and a few tiny pieces of them. For [$], you would think they would have more than just one geode!!What a rip-off. I wondering if we just got a lemon or if they are all like this.My suggestion would be to simply buy some geodes, for a much cheaper price, and break them open!!
