We ordered ours for our son when he was one. (He's now 2) He wasn't able to balance in it yet for a spin but he liked to put toys in it. It's been a cave, a cradle, a tunnel, a basket to toss balls in, he spins it with toys in it, he moves the balls in it so they race around inside it, he stands on it, he loves to look through the holes and put it on his head and ours. His new little brother (9mos) loves it. They fight over it. Little brother likes that it moves like crazy when he slaps it and he likes to put toys in and take them out of it. That's why we now need two. I think that it will be even more fun when they can put two together to make a sphere or have two tunnels for their trains. Also, they are a nice way to clean up the living room fast, just toss it all in there. I am looking forward to using it in the snow and water.

I really want to love this - it's so cool looking and seems to inspire imagination and creativity. The only thing is, so far it just sits there and we stack balls and toys in it at the end of the night. My husband and I have shown our son a dozen ways WE can think of to use/play with it, but I'm hoping it's just because at 18 months, he's still too young to get it. I'm not giving up on it, but for now it's just a neat-looking bin.

As soon as we gave it to our daughter she immediately put her stuffed animals in it for a cradle. Then she tried sitting in it, we only had to show her another way to put the seat that made it more sturdy for her to sit in. She loves it! The color is great too, we got orange and it's rich and bright.

We bought this for our 18 month old son and so far the only thing he's done with it is stand in it for a split second before he fell on his head. It's way bigger and heavier than it looks in the picture, so he can't use it as a helmet etc. I think this toy pushes imaginative play too hard. I paid nothing for "imagination nation" (a huge stack of random boxes) and he definately enjoys them more and more safely. Maybe when he's a little older we'll try again.
