Purchased as a christmas gift for my 5 yr old grandson. He was very happy and I am hoping it will last. Only disappointment was we thought the remote control would control the up and down on the crane and it doesn't. Also purchased the replacement warranty. Hope we won't need it.

Our 3 1/2 yr old received this for Xmas. We were excited bc he loves cranes and when he opened it, it looked like a great toy. It is not! The whole point of a crane is to lift and lower, why bother with a remote if it isn't going to move the crane?!? To me that was the point of the toy! My husband unfortunately threw the box away so no chance of returning. R son does like the remote and the lights but he keeps trying to "fix" it with his toy drill. He doesn't understand why the crane doesn't move. Expensive toy for all the more that it does.

This was a Christmas gift for my son. All the remote does is move the crane forwards and backwards and make noises. It is advertised that the remote also extends the crane boom which it certainly does not. My son, not knowing and being a boy, still is enjoying the toy, however, it is a disappointment especially for the money spent.

My sons mamaw bought him this crane for his 5th birthday. She and I thought that one of the joy stick buttons would move the boom and we was so thankful that we had not thrown the box away so we could return the defective product; however, after reading on line commments, we sadly realize it is not defective, it is just misrepresented. This could have been a great toy, but I would not buy this crane. It is too much money for too little bling.

Parts do not work...boom does not move...do not waste money. Very misleading!! Total Rip Off!
They even tell you the wrong size batteries to buy!!

Santa brought this to my 2.25 year old son this year for Christmas and he gave it little to no attention after the first day. Of course, it only goes backwards and forwards and it is not wireless - We new this when we bought it. BUT we also expected that the boom moved since there was a button that made noise when you pushed it on the controller. I didn't realize it didn't move until I read the previous reviews. For the money we spent on this crane the boom should have motion via the controller. Since our truck/dozer crazy boy hadn't played with it for days we returned the crane and purchased 4 other great toys for the same money and he loves all of the replacements. Also, it is so large that you really need quite a bit of hardwood/tile area to drive it on.

I also bought this toy for my son and feel I received the cheap version.Unfortunately the box got thrown away so now I am stuck with it. Toys r us advertises it with a three button remote ours has only two.It also is advertised as using 4c batteries ours has 4 aa batteries. I just want the one that is advertised and I thought I bought.

My 4yr old was excited about this Christmas gift! So were the adults that knew about it, as he loves big cranes! We returned the first item we got, thinking it was broken. No - it wasn't apparently! THE CRANE IS NOT CONTROLLED BY THE REMOTE! The box is VERY misleading! The remote control is VERY misleading, it even has a "joy-stick" type button, that one would think would move the crane, but just makes noise. Abosultely NOT worth the money for a glorified remote control car that has to be manually extended! And, not even "remote" as the control is attached with wires, you have to stay with the crane anyway! HORRIBLE!

The details that explain the function of the crane are FALSE!!!! It does not control the boom in any way shape or form, it only moves forwards and backwards and makes noises!!! Not worth [$] at all!!!!!
