My 4 month old has loved this seahorse since the day we brought him home from the hospital. The music is very soothing and he just stares in amazement at this toy. We put it in his pack n play at night and it helps him to fall asleep. We couldn't survive in our house without this seahorse :) I highly recommend it!

One of my co-workers got me this soothe as a baby shower gift. My daughter is not born yet, but I turn the music on and put it on my belly. Hopefully she will remember once she's born in 2 weeks. : )

My daughter loves this! My only problem with it is that I wish it played longer. My daughter is usually asleep within 2 cycles of playing it!

I started using this as soon as my son was born and it works wonders when he sleeps. I pt it on when I put him down to sleep, and kept putting it on till he was fast asleep. He loves to hear the music and it helps him fall asleep. Whenever I heard him moving around I just put it on and he fell right back asleep. Great!

I bought Seymour (this is what we named him, I laughed at the other reviewers seeing that they did as well :) when my daughter was 2 1/2 months old. A couple of months later, she couldn't go to sleep without him. The songs he plays are so soothing and they like the belly glow too. My daughter is now 18 months old and carries him around wherever she goes. She even took him treat or treating this year (see picture). Needless to say, we love him. Bought another one just in case something happened to the original or we needed to clean it. Unfortunately she knows the difference and doesn't want the new one (that one's tag isn't faded.) I washed the original in the clothes washer on warm, gentle cycle and it worked perfectly! Great toy!!

My mom bought us this seahorse the week our son was born. We also received the Playskool Glo-worm as a gift as well. This seahorse has been one of my son's favorite toys. We use it for naps and bed time and it usually does the trick and puts him right to sleep. When he first started reaching for toys, this is the first one that he reached for. The music is not annoying and it lasts long enough usually to put him to sleep. With the glow worm, the music ends every 30 seconds or so, so you have to keep pressing the button which is very annoying and not restful to anyone. I would recommend this toy to anyone; it is great!

I got this because my baby sister loved her glow worm some 20 years ago. The baby is only a little over a month, but he loves it. When he is sleepy but fussy it is a miracle in that it calms him and puts him to sleep.
I have bought more as Christmas gifts for the other new mothers in the family.
I have not tried to clean it yet.

This will put my baby to sleep so fast. It's easy to use you just push on the stomach and it lights up which is bright enough to see what you're doing in the middle of the night but not so bright that it's blinding. You can also adjust how loud the music plays. It's really easy to change the batteries and it lasts for a good chunk of time. I received this as a gift from the baby shower and I am so glad that I did. Wonderful!
